A whole civilization will die tonight?

 People don’t have discernment; they grab the first thing they see, listen to propaganda, and run with it.

Concerning President Trump’s statement, “A whole civilization will die tonight...” Is that the whole message?

Nope! What about his ending, “...God bless the great people of Iran!”

Civilization will die - God bless the great people of Iran, hmm, we have a conflict here.

So was Trump talking about the Islamic civilization and its destructive practices will die, or the Iranian people themselves will die?

Obviously, it's the first one; otherwise, why would he end it with, “God bless the great people of Iran.”

God bless Trump and the Iranian people and may Americans wake up.

Has anything changed?

 We have learned nothing from the past!

Germany, Italy, and Japan in the 1930’s were making noise about conquest. Japan started by invading Manchuria in 1931. If America had intervened WWII could have been averted. It's quite possible if America did.

Iran has been screaming death to America and Israel with numerous terrorist attacks through the years. Do we wait until the threats escalate and nuclear war ensues?

Hitler trained the youth, and during the last days of WWII German boys were still trying to defend Germany.

Today, we have Iranian youth. Research what they are taught, it's eerily similar to the Hitler Youth.

WWII and Vietnam protest. During WWII, Constitutionalist did not want to get involved, it's not our fight. Vietnam was the same thing. What are we hearing from many Americans during this Iran conflict?

You can research the exact numbers I'm posting, but these are very close.

There are many reasons I'm not in favor of any involvement in the Ukraine war, monetary or otherwise.

Israel, I'm leaning more in favor.

Instead of listing those reasons, let's just stick with the numbers.

Ukraine population is estimated at 39,535,849

Russia population is estimated at 146.0 million

And what is Europe's population?

It is estimated at 450,131,902

This is not our war! This is a European conflict. Ukraine should be turning to its European neighbors for help.

Now, let's look at Israel.

Israel population is estimated at 9,647,689

Arab countries surrounding Israel: 350-480 million!

Israel 9,647,689! , and out of this number, how many are children, elderly, disabled, and even though many women are drafted, women. So that 9,647,689 gets much smaller.

Who do they turn to?

So, are you against this war because you want cheap oil? Anti-Israel? Antisemitic? Foreign entanglements? (which is a farce, another post to tackle that) Or because Israel is so small, they don't matter? Or are you worried because this could lead to WWIII?

I say defend Israel for many reasons, which is also another post to tackle at a later date.

Just look at those numbers once more and then decide, but just don't run with the soundbites being tossed around.

Carey’s Rant - Self-checkouts Boo Hiss

I went to Walmart in Eastlake. Did my shopping, went to check out, and the only thing open was the self-checkout.

I told the lady that if there are no registers open, I will leave my items, and some were from the freezer department.

She said gruffly OK, so I did.

They had three ladies hovering over you like mosquitoes at a nudist camp, another lady at the door checking your receipt like a Gestapo checking IDs, all of which is an inconvenience, but they can’t open a manned register where my items are scanned, money and change handed over, with my items bagged.

I may be one person, but I refuse to play this game. There are still stores with humans saying hello and asking, 'Did you find everything OK?' That's where I will continue to shop. You can shop at the stores that feel more like North Korea, but not me.

Alberta 51st state?

 We hear from time to time, I am leaving, (America) and going to Canada, Canada's healthcare is better, oh yeah!

I remember visiting family in Canada and the big news was Quebec wanted to break away from Canada. I never followed up on it how all played out.
And today we have Alberta wanting to break away from Canada and join the great ole' USA!
We have No Kings Protests, Ice Protests, and so many movements from other angry people and groups for what reason? I myself don't get it.
America can't be that bad if illegals are storming our borders, a Canadian province wants to break away and join America, and all countries want access to sell their goods because someone is buying.
Wake up America.

Carey, this is happening in my hometown of Edmonton in Alberta, which is the Christian prolife conservative hub of Canada. Many Albertan pastors have been jailed for having their churches open during Covid. Many Albertans have been jailed for protesting the whole trans LGBTQ…thing that is pushed on their children. They are fed up. They want their independence and possibly to join as a 51st state. Pray for Alberta!
