Has anything changed?

We have learned nothing from the past!

Germany, Italy, and Japan in the 1930’s were making noise about conquest. Japan started by invading Manchuria in 1931. If America had intervened WWII could have been averted. It's quite possible if America did.

Iran has been screaming death to America and Israel with numerous terrorist attacks through the years. Do we wait until the threats escalate and nuclear war ensues?

Hitler trained the youth, and during the last days of WWII German boys were still trying to defend Germany.

Today, we have Iranian youth. Research what they are taught, it's eerily similar to the Hitler Youth.

WWII and Vietnam protest. During WWII, Constitutionalist did not want to get involved, it's not our fight. Vietnam was the same thing. What are we hearing from many Americans during this Iran conflict?

Has anything changed?

A gun lesson for you.

A gun lesson for you.

***The Soviet army crossed the frontier to join us (Poles) in the struggle against the Germans....... We cannot wait for orders from the Polish High Command..... We must unite with the Soviet Forces. Commander Plaskow demands that we join his detachment immediately, after surrendering our arms. They will be returned to us later......I inform all officers within hearing of these facts and order all non-commissioned officers and soldiers to comply with the request of Commander Plaskow. Death to Germany! Long live Poland and the Soviet Union!

And so the Polish soldiers and officers complied and gave up their weapons. Immediately upon doing so instead of joining forces with the Soviets and being reissued their guns the Polish army was duped and made prisoners of the Russians without any resistance and suffered just as bad as those taken by the Nazi's.

This took place during WWII. Hitler made a surprise invasion from the west into Poland. The Soviet army was invading from the east but the Poles thought the Russians had come to join forces with them against Hitler. Russia took over eastern Poland according to this account without a single shot being fired.
Don't we ever learn from history?

Keep those guns, do not lay them down!!! Your life and nation are at risk.

Careys election review - Gambling

It seems the gambling initiative has passed and Ohio will amend its constitution. How sad to amend any constitution for something like gambling. I have been adamantly opposed to it.

Propaganda is not a matter for average minds, but rather a matter for practitioners. It is not supposed to be lovely or theoretically correct.....The point of a political speech is to persuade people of what we think right. Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths. Joseph Goebbels Hitlers propaganda minister.

The above statement was very evident while listening to the election returns on 1100 am. I believe the host was Andre Knott, forgive me if I am wrong. He was talking with a guest about issue 3, casino's in Ohio. Andre voted for it and his guest mentioned some of the benefits like the 35,000 jobs it would create. Both chuckled, well we will see if that happens, they will say anything to get it passed. Then they aired the speech from Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cavs, a member of his staff and Mayor Frank Jackson. Mayor Frank Jackson said its not a panacea. So now the truth comes out, 35,000 jobs, maybe, panacea, nope!
The statement that really caught my attention was made by one of Gilbert's staff when he irreverently said And the best thing with it passing, thank God no more Truth Pack ads.
I hope Gilbert's casino goes bankrupt like the one in Detroit.

Maybe some of you don't know this but Dan Gilbert owner of the Cavs was arrested in 1981 for bookmaking. How he was allowed to buy a sports franchise is beyond me. And now he will own a casino. Still think sports aren't fixed?

Now getting back to the propaganda. Its amazing how parrot like people are. Some of the reasons I heard from those who were against gambling in the past but voted for it now were, people are spending their money in other states lets keep it here and it will create jobs, exactly what the ads said. I was always told two wrongs don't make a right and how many more barely above minimum wage jobs do we need and you also have to figure in the jobs that would be lost. How much will the actual gain be?
Another reason I heard, there is already gambling and corruption so whats the big deal? Because there is corruption you want more instead fixing the problems we have? And ask the people who live by casinos if crime went up or down, that's the big deal.

This was the fifth time they tried to get casinos in Ohio. There should be a limit how many times an issue can be placed on the ballot. I feel the same thing will happen with same sex marriage. People get so tired of keeping up the fight, others start buying the lies that eventually an issue gets passed no matter how bad.
The corrupt get richer and your vote helped them do it.
PEOPLE WAKE UP!

FEMA Camps - are you ready??

Revelation 9:15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind.

Friends, I know some of you keep telling me I don't want to hear this, I have my own beliefs BUT I am telling you something has to be going on and you can't keep pretending its not there. Read the bible, newspapers, the emails that keep circulating, watch the news, something is up. I keep asking some of you why are you so arrogant or naive to believe this can't happen to America? Didn't Hitler try something like world domination? How many MILLIONS have been killed by fascist or communist dictators? Population control is real and has been preached by many to save the planet. Friends wise up and prepare while you still can.

Below is from my friend Wayne. The first part is scary and you need to look at the hidden meaning of it.
(1) capable of meeting for an extended period of time the housing, health, transportation, education, *PUBLIC WORKS, humanitarian and other transition needs of a large number of individuals affected by an emergency or major disaster;

*This reminds me of "Arbeit macht frei" which means work sets you free, this phrase was displayed at the entrance of the Nazi concentration camps.

Now Wayne's words:
Hmmmmm.... reading this and actually seeing it in Thomas..... It gives me the shivers and smacks of the Detention Camps.... be they Germany or here in the USA for the Japanese and the reopening of them in the 70's for the "HIPPIES AND DISSIDENTS". Seems no one has Co-sponsored it but this was actually thought up and put on the agenda.
