Friends, let me set the table before you read this email from my archives. I am so glad I have saved all my old writings since all of what is playing out this election is really just a rewind of the '08 election season.



In this writing from 4 years ago the only names you have to change is Rudy Giuliani and replace it with Newt and Huckabee change that to Santorum whom I feel still will be rising to the top and shortly.



For those who may not remember Mitt Romney shunned the Value Voters Debate in Florida in Sept. '07 but when Huckabee made character and religion an issue he panicked and gave that ridiculous religion speech. Mitt's main foe at the time was Rudy until Huckabee rose up but this year Mitt's foe is Newt, and Santorum well he is the Huckabee that will be the Iowa surprise.



Be honest, wouldn't you rather of had Huckabee over a McCain and Obama? Well lets not be regretful again, lets support Santorum.

Mitt Gets Religion

Did anyone one watch the PR event put on by Mitt? I didn't and I should of known this was coming. Mitt just doesn't get it. Why is he pulling out the religion card when no one brought it up? I'll tell you the reason, the reason is Governor Mike Huckabee, a candidate the Romney camp didn't figure on rising to the top. They now have someone else to contend with other than Rudy.

Suddenly Mitt Romney feels the need to verify his stance on his Mormon faith and God in general. I'm sorry the timing is wrong and way to late. Where was Mitt during the Value Voters debate in September? If he was so concerned that people understand his religion why didn't he attend it and make his beliefs known then? This issue would of been settled months ago. But now he is trying to look religious to the Conservative Right which was not a concern of his until Huckabee started wooing them to his side. Now its a priority.

There is two ways to go with your faith, you can either live it by example such as Rep. Ron Paul or you can come right out such as Allen Keyes or Mike Huckabee have and say this is my faith and what I believe. But for Mitt to give a speech weeks before the primaries open is an act of desperation.

Mitt doesn't understand that his Mormon religion is not as much of a concern as him changing positions on issues, especially on moral and social importance. I am not a Catholic or a Baptist but would vote for Allen Keyes or Mike Huckabee as our religions agree on whats most important from one God, the Virgin birth, Jesus, the crucifixion and resurrection. Likewise I may vote for a moral conscience Mormon BUT one that is consistent with his beliefs.

Which Mitt should we believe in, the one that now says he is pro-life and family or the previous one that was pro-choice and supporter of the homosexual lifestyle? If as he says he is now pro-life and family did this conversion come on suddenly and recent or was he dishonest in his views running for Senate and Governor of Massachusetts and lied to get elected? Either way can we trust him that his beliefs are genuine and cemented to the right or will he change back once elected?

Same with the issue of illegals. Mitt attacked Mayor Rudy Giuliani for NY city being a sanctuary city but in Massachusetts the state he was governor there were three sanctuary cities plus he had illegals working at his mansion. These are the reasons why Mitt Romney is falling and Mike Huckabee is rising to the top not because of his Mormon religion. It has to do with character and being firm in beliefs. I have never heard Rep. Ron Paul waiver in his views or Mike Huckabee, that's what America is looking for, a leader with a strong stance.

Since Mitt brought up the religion card I will leave him with Matthew 5:37 which reads: But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No. Or saying it in modern political language it would read simply: Don't be a flip flopper.

Hey Gang,

I think we are all still in disbelief that Herman Cain dropped out. I thought for sure he was going to say I decided to take my talents and join Dwayne Wade in South Beach.

The public just never fails to amaze me. When Cain's supposed 13 year affair leaked out many of his supporters went to Gingrich who has had as many affairs if not more than Cain.

Obama's new way to tally unemployment is if a person after three months has not found work it is assumed he doesn't want a job and taken off the unemployment list. By doing it this way unemployment will be well below -2% by mid 2012.

Mitt Romney is questioning Newt Gingrich on issues of character. Newt went from being a Lutheran, to Baptist to now being Catholic. Unlike Mitt who has believed in one religion his whole life, even if its a false religion.

Awww I can't help but bring up this old dirt on Mitt, remember when he said he marched with Martin Luther King Jr.? No punch line, I still think its funny.

Perry finally remembered the departments he would cut, but now a new problem, he can't remember why he would cut them.

Who wants to make a $10,000.00 bet? I bet Mitt Romney never read his own book.

Mitt as pres would make an excellent negotiator. I can see him now, I bet you $10,000 Iran has nukes.

Friends just about what I have been saying since I made my decision to vote Santorum for president back in April Glenn Beck now echos.

 

I have been calling Mitt the white Obama and Beck - well, he calls Newt almost the same thing without coming right out and saying it.  But Beck does one up me and calls Newt a progressive. 

 

And what does Beck says about Mitt?  He would have a horrific time voting for him.  As I said all along, Mitt is establishment and IF ITS MITT - I SIT! 

 

Glenn's take on Paul and Santorum?  He is between the two, you can't argue with Paul on fiscal and Constitutional matters but concerning Israel he is with Santorum who he is a big fan of.  I have said that all along.

 

I will add two more reasons for Santorum, the national security issue of homosexuality and drugs.    YES those two are national security issues.  Paul is to lax on them.

 

So Tea Party people, the tea party is suppose to be about values, moral, God, country, Constitution, fiscal responsibility.

We found our candidate, its now time to support him.  And NO MORE I like Santorum but he can't win so I like Newt or Mitt.  You are playing right into their socialist web.

 

Stop saying it and start supporting Santorum.

The Decision

Today we will find out whether Herman Cain decides to continue his run for the White House or pack it in. I am not a Cain fan because I do not think he is knowledgeable enough for the world stage, his past endorsement of Romney and today’s pr event of whether he will stay in but none the less I find it troubling with what is going on with our system. Politics have always been dirty but has America hit a new low?


In the 70's we had Nixon trying to get dirt on the Democrats with the Watergate break in. In the early 90's Ross Perot ended his bid for presidency when rumors surfaced that the Republican party planned on sabotaging Perot's daughters wedding. And now we have Cain.

The only candidate I know of that escaped infidelity charges was Slick Willy Clinton. In the 80's we had Gary Hart and he quickly became a casualty when it came to light of his cheating. And during the the 2008 election John Edwards sunk when it was revealed he got a woman pregnant. But with Cain this seems to be different. Herman's accusers do not seem the most credible but so much dirt has been thrown around and the waters have been so muddied that Cain could repeatedly say he is innocent but will we ever know the truth or trust him completely? It doesn't take a lot to character assassinate someone, doubt will always linger even if proven innocent.

Something really needs to be done with our campaigning and election process. NO one is perfect, most of us have a past and to some its a past we like to forget. But how far back into ones past do we have to go to see if a candidate qualifies to our standards? To me the time line is ten to fifteen years which I believe is sufficient to set a pattern of behavior. So the previous charges again Cain were a non factor as far as I am concerned but this supposed current affair has been going on thirteen years, that's worrisome.

It is unsettling because if we back the man and we find out these charges are true then the Republican party, the party of Value Voters, the Christian Conservative Right are no better than when the Democrats elected Clinton while the talk of his womanizing was going that continued right into the Oval Office. Do we really need this all over again?

On the other hand if we do not support Cain and then we find out that the charges were trumped up by the establishment, the insiders, the opposition, or by whomever then they won and damaged a mans reputation and maybe a person who would of done an admirable job as president and this could even discourage others in the future of running.

I myself will be watching Cain's decision. If he decides to end his campaign I will pay attention to whom he endorses. If he endorses someone such as Mitt Romney who is very soft on social issues and changed his position on so many others then I think I can draw a positive conclusion of what happened.

Speaking of rock & roll Herman Cain admitted the real inspiration behind his 999 plan happened while in college. Cain said he had a financial awakening while listening to the Beatles Revolution Number 9 … number 9.... number 9

The biggest difference I noticed between Obama and the Republican candidates for president is Obama wants to control the size of individuals while he grows the government and Republican's have the opposite stance.

VP Joe Biden was in Euclid recently. I think its the perfect place for him to visit. After all Euclid is a model city of what the Democratic Party can do.

Biden then went to visit the three people in the Occupy Cleveland movement. He said don't give up, if Obama and I lose our job we will be joining you so hold the fort.

I think its wonderful how so many people are camping out in tents these days. Is this part of the go green plan?

That’s why I don't call homeless people homeless people, I call them outdoors men.

Seriously though, does anyone see the irony in whats going on? We have the Occupy Movement camping out in tents protesting Wall Street and Corporations and then we have people camping out in tents to shop at corporations.

If Gander Mt. wanted to make some real money they would set up a pavilion at the Occupy Movement and give lectures on how to camp out urban style, they probable would sell a lot of tents.

Another thought on this, on the front page of the News Herald was a photo with caption of three people, listing their names and telling about how they camped out in front of Best Buy to buy large screen TV’s as Christmas presents. Don't you think their surprise was given away? And wouldn't you be disappointed if you were part of that family and saw that front page and didn't receive one of those Tv's but a gift card instead?

The Penn State scandal is still being talked about, quite sad. Where's Santorum when you need him?

My worker and I had to sign in with security at an office in downtown Cleveland. The black security guard asked if we were brothers? I said nope no relation but you know us whites, we all look the same. He replied Ya know I've heard that before.

And lastly for those of you keeping track of words not to use around Muslims. Here are just two of the many words Pakistan has condemned as anti-Islamic: Athlete's foot and Flatulence.

Well that stinks.

Since the last half of the show was about Thanksgiving I would like to continue that theme here.

America does have its problem, what a way to start off a Thanksgiving letter - hold on, but overall our country is still richly blessed.

We constantly hear from the media the craziness and stories that bring out the worse in people but seldom do we reflect or hear about the thousands of good people in our society. Think about it.

Sure there were a few random acts of violence and mayhem on black Friday but then think about all of the stores across America that people freely lined up and did their shopping with no incident, able to walk into stores without being checked or patted down, able to purchase what they wanted to.

Think about all the different sporting events where thousands gather, cheer on their favorite team and enjoy themselves with no problems.

Look around your community and look at all the churches of different denominations. We can still freely enter and worship the church of our choosing without fear of being jailed or killed.

Think about all the campaign signs in yards during election season where each individual can display his opinion.

Think about the fact that one can pursue a career of their chose, or location where one wants to live.

These are just a few of the things that sometimes we take for granted without ever stopping to reflect how thankful all of us should be to be able to enjoy these things freely.

This is America and these are things we should all be thankful for.

I would like to quickly add a few personal thank you's to individuals that have made a difference in my life our added something special to it.

I said this on air but will repeat it, thank you to Mike Gutierrez for encouraging me to go on his radio show. His insistence helped me get over a hump and because of him I have spoke at a Tea Party and now on air regularly.

Chairman Fellows for his leadership and always-timely advice, also for asking me to go on America News and Views.

God for giving me the perseverance not to give up with the battle with Euclid. I still have both houses with the same tenants of many years.

Thankful for my tenants. A landlord couldn't find better tenants than the ones I have.

My parents. Especially my father who at 84 is still a far better worker than a lot of younger people I know.

The ability to be self employed for many years.

All my online/internet friends. Some of you I never met in person but it doesn't matter. Your emails of information, encouragement or just simple hello's are all appreciated.

And all my friends, I have been blessed with a large circle of great friends that I can surround myself in.

To be thankful doesn't mean to get complacent or lazy. If one is truly thankful then he is willing to fight and stand up for what made him thankful. For to long America took for granted our freedoms and liberty. We must acknowledge our creator who gave us so many blessings and we must be vigilant to protect them. Evil is not going away. And we must never stop defending our God given liberties.

America is a great nation and I am thankful everyday that I live in this country.

Friends,

At times I just like to send out articles and clips with no comment and let the reader decide. I wanted to research the GOP candiates on a certain issue and compare them. I chose the topic of Muslim and Islam since its plays such a big role in current events and in America.

I did not include John Humtsman whom I don't consider a real player and I did not include Mitt who says so many flip flops I don't trust anything the man says.

FURTHERMORE - The news letter of America News and Views November 10th

Host Bob Murphy was not in but National Commentator Mike Gutierrez took his place along with Liaison for the Tea Party Carey Masci, our own US Senate candidate Rusty Bliss and Josh Guzic from Breakdown Radio fame were in the studio.

It was great to walk in the studio and see Josh sitting there. He is very knowledgeable and his presence created an excitement of past days when he and Mike Gutierrez were doing their radio show. It was a fast paced half hour with lots of info thrown out.

Lets get to the newsletter.

I have been keeping an eye on Herman Cain since about February and his sudden meteoric rise and falling back down to earth in recent days. Should we count him out, absolutely not we still have a long process to go through. Polls rise and fall. But what bothers me the most with Cain are his supporters. Why? Because I was disturbed by the amount of money Cain raised when the allegations of sexual harassment were brought to light.

I understand the anti-media and liberal sentiment going on that made supporters run to Cain’s defense but we still needed to hear what else might come out. Suppose the allegations against Cain were true and new ones surfaced. Would the Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party be any better than the Democrats who flock to their leaders and still support them regardless of what they do or did? I think not. The problem here is very simple – emotions!

I have heard the most absurd reasons why people like or don't like a candidate and its mostly based on emotions. A few of things I have heard against candidates are Bachman's voice is to whiny, Santorum makes faces, Paul is to old, what! How shallow is this reasoning? Very! The Right is supposed to be far more intelligent, informed and knowledgeable about issues and candidates than the Left and yet when I hear this sort of talk I shudder.

We keep saying how much we hate and disagree with how the media try's to manipulate our thinking. But until the voting public, especially Republicans and Independents, keep their emotions in check and vote by looking at the issue and or record of the candidate along with what the candidate says we will keep receiving shock treatment news from the media to sway our opinion into their agenda because they know it works. Wise up people.

Now the above was directed to those informed and involved but this comment is about the general public who votes strictly by sound bites and what the mainstream media says.

I am troubled by what I am seeing going on with the media. It has become so blatantly slanted its hard to believe much of what is being broadcast. For instance on Fox news they aired the show “The Fight for Iowa”. They hardly mentioned Senator Rick Santorum who has visited all 99 counties in Iowa and won a very worthy endorsement from the National Federation of Republican Assemblies and endorsements from Chuck Laudner (former Executive Director and Interim Chairman of the Iowa Republican Party), Lori Jungling (Iowa co-chairman of HuckPAC) and Shane Vander Heart (conservative blogger at CaffeinatedThoughts.com) but the show gave more than enough time to Mitt Romney who isn’t going all out in Iowa because of the uncertainty that he can win it. If this isn’t biased what is?

IF Santorum received even a quarter of the free press the media constantly gives to build up their candidate Mitt Romney where would Rick be in the polls?

But Santorum isn’t the only one. What about Rep. Ron Paul? Whether you like him or not he is a main player but you would never know it judging it from the media. Even during the debates, which most are just a sham, Paul gets largely ignored. How fair is this?

So the Tea Party and the rest of the activist patriots have a tall order to fill, educating and getting through to the public who still believe what they hear on the news is the gospel truth. If we don’t we will be stuck with Obama or Obama lite Romney.

The thing we need to keep in mind is the enemy is Obama and his socialist agenda. Newt keeps pounding this drum and so do I.

We need to stay focused, stay united to defeat Obama before he completely dismantles the America we know and our way of life. We cannot give up this fight.

America is still the world’s hope and America’s hope lies in God not with government, especially a government that believes it should be the supplier of all your needs. That is not the role of government that is the role of God.

They are about supporting unions (communism), not advocating for sanity and fiscal responsibility. The vote to repeal Issue 2 are union-organized party-locked in Democrats, all marching in lockstep regardless how much it will cost them or their city or constituents.  They don't care about reality, just about communism and socialism and defeating anything Republican.  It doesn't have to make sense.

Unfortunately, and very, very sadly, Issue 2 is going to be voted "NO" and we'll all lose.  Layoffs will follow because cities won't have enough money and then the evil D's will blame the GOP gov for the layoffs instead of their own greed and union leaders.  

And we'll be looking at another evil Strickland to replace Kasich in a few years after the D's destroy him in the media and blame him for everything -- even the common cold -- if they could.  And the local commie news media will play it all out at 4:30 AM through 9 AM, then again at noon, repeating at 5 & 6 PM, and again at 11 pm.  And the sheeple will buy it because the news said it.

The other solution to raise taxes as a consequence of defeating Issue 2 will result in worse financial conditions for everyone!  But who the hell cares!  As long as they get your money to redistribute.  It's communism!

The union commies will have had their day in the sun and vacations paid for by you and me in all they can steal and pocket for themselves.  The rats!

Meanwhile, Joe Six-Pack will never understand because the damn local media walks right along with the commie D's -- all unionized idiots!

BTW, Euclid is hopelessly lost -- they're all committed commie D's.  Euclid will never change.  You're fighting a hopelessly lost battle.

At Shadowbox Live Theater attendees will be cheering on models as they walk down the runway wearing dresses made out of condoms.
Ahhh there is nothing like a girl prepared for a night out.

Shadowbox Theater did make a statement saying costumes made of pre-lubricated condoms will no longer be allowed after one model slipped and slid off the runway and almost broke her neck.

Another travel agency went out of business in Cleveland.  They sold so many one way tickets out of town they lost their customer base.

Speaking of Cleveland, it is so backwards.  They send all the corrupt Italian businessman and politicians to jail and then they pass the casino issue.  Well now how are you going to run the gambling joints?

The protesters are so whacked.  One female was asked her thoughts on corporations.  She said that we need to go back to hunting and gathering.  And I agree, I think we should strip her naked, put her loose in a forest and tell her now go hunt and gather your clothes and food.

The EPA is all for clean fresh air but they won't go near wall street and the protesters because of the foul odor. 

Didn't the communist and socialist try this type of protest back in the 60's?  I thought Progressive as they are now called meant moving forward not looking back.

You want to get the protesters off the street?  Give them gift cards to Walmart and McDonald's. 

The Occupy Wall Street movement some how has raised $300,000.00.  The protesters thought about starting a corporation and investing in Wall Street until they remembered thats what they are protesting.  In fact said one protester were are even against Capitalism so were are not sure what to do with the money. 

This Halloween will be the first one that children as well as adults will be knocking on doors asking for hand outs.

Obama wants to promote organizing children who Trick or Treat.  He said They should be Unionized and they should be taught to ask for an extra piece of candy, thats very American, and being good young Americans should also involve sending the extra candy to the White House, I will know what to do with it, it should be given to kids who don't have a bag to hold their candy or to kids that are to lazy to walk to get their candy, thats the American way. 


This Halloween I will be supporting Michelle Obama's battle against childhood obesity.  Each piece of candy given out will be cut in half and explained to the trick or treaters this is for your own good, I don't want you to get fat.

Mitt Romney was absent from the Evangelical Forum in Iowa.  He didn't have a prayer. 

 

Global warming news for Oct. 27th, 2011.  NY city hit by snow, as well as WV, Ct, Maine, and most of the east coast buried. 

 

With the snow and cold in NY City the communist protesters thought they were back at home in Russia.

 

The occupy movement is gaining momentum.  NY city there are thousands, Oakland riots, numerous other cities have large crowds.  In Cleveland... the number varied between 6 and 8.  Even when there are protests can't Cleveland do anything right?

 

Will someone please tell the Cleveland Browns that they still have to show up for work,  The NBA is on strike not the NFL.

 

How desperate is Cleveland?   Its either very desperate or I am the unluckiest guy.   My Daweoo was in the repair shop lot amongst numerous other cars and it was broken into.  I mean how many Daewoos have you ever heard of being stolen or broken into?

 

The mechanic called and said hey you better come get your car they threw your stuff all over, I have this picnic basket tin here what is this?   Well its my picnic basket tin, thank goodness they didn't take that.  I keep my spices and emergency cookware in it, you never know when you may be invited over for dinner and its lacking.

 

I called the cops and told them my Daewoo was broken into.  The dispatcher replied, someone broke into your MICROWAVE!

Herman Cain is adamant he did nothing wrong.  He said when I told that woman to go to her room and wait for me because I will deliver I was talkin' bout pizza.

The show for Thursday the 27th was quite different than those in the past. The topics we are now covering are definitely expanding. In this newsletter I am going to write about a few topics from my notes that we never got to.

But first I would like to briefly mention the Tea Party gathering on Monday the 24th I held for US Senate candidate Rusty Bliss at the Greek House In Wickliffe which by the way has terrific food. Rusty Bliss fielded questions from the energized and knowledgeable group that most candidates wouldn't even entertain but Rusty did and he answered them. Just a great time, thanks to everyone who attended.

Joe from the Euclid Tea Party requested that we talk about another Euclid scandal that's brewing.

According to an article in the News Herald Euclid Mayor Bill Cervenik is quite uneasy about a short conversation he had with Jimmy Dimora in 2008. Cervenik insists that phone call with Dimora did not influence his decision to support Neteam AVI a company with ties to Michael Forlani a businessman accused of bribing Dimora. The RTA board the following day voted unanimously to award a $1.2 million contract to Neteam AVI. Cervenik said his decision was made a week earlier that he would support them.

As much as I hate how things are run in Cuyahoga County this is still America where you are innocent until proven guilty so we will have to wait to see how this unravels.

But this I do know, the more layers of government you have the better the odds of corruption are. And anywhere where you have a stronghold of one party rule, especially Democratic, corruption can be found because of no checks and balances,

Cuyahoga needs to be flushed out, layers of government reduced and do away with anything unconstitutional such as mandatory house inspections which is another area of local government that breeds dishonesty and used as an extension of the law to go after people who speak out.

I need to repeat something I already wrote, it is about Euclid council voting to oppose Issue 2. Remember this is the same city that is charging an additional fee to residents for street lights because they could not afford safety forces. So does it make sense to oppose Issue 2? Well of course it does as long as residents don't gripe and complain about the added fee, most just roll over dead and pay. And pay they will even more so if Issue 2 fails. Heads up, get ready to open your wallet if it does.

Saber rattling could get ugly. I have been keeping an eye on a conflict going on now about a year. It is between the Philippines who are friends of the US and China.

I clearly understand what Rep. Ron Paul says that we should not be the policemen of the world because it is not Constitutional but I also agree with Sen. Santorum that if we don't who will because here is a case of what should we do? IF China does use force they would crush the Philippines who are one of our strongest Pacific Rim allies. Do we just sit idly by and do nothing or do we get involved in another conflict?

So many problems across the globe some you don't even hear about.

Something to think about.

Euclid City Council approved fees billed to home owners for street lighting (YES street lights!) and a fee for garbage collection to avert layoffs in the police and fire departments and yet council recently voted to endorse their oppostion to Issue 2.

BUT Issue 2 IF passed would save the city money and avert lay offs ANDDDD maybe if the city is generous to us over taxed tax payers could even rescind the street and trash fees.

Does Euclid councils decision make sense to oppose Issue 2??

Councilwoman Minarik the woman of reason and common sense on Euclid council voted not to oppose Issue 2.

Did you watch the debate? Poor desperate Perry! Of all things he could of attacked Mitt on he reached wayyyyyyy back to 2007 or was it '06 about the illegals working at Mitts mansion. There are so many other facts to bring out about Mitt that are way more relevant.

About the debate... I thought Bachman looked very very good, Santorum is still the most Conservative with no bells and whistles to prop him up, Newt had his good moments and Ron Paul is still pluggin' away never waiveing on his message that America is broke. Decent debate.

The Mitt & Perry Show though is getting old very quickly. They need a 30 minute sitcom. It would be a hit. Sort of like the Odd Couple but political style. I would love to be the writer for it.

So much to talk about, WOW!  I
could go in so many different directions with this news letter about
last weeks show.  Thats the thing with a 30 minute show.  We only
have enough time to hit the high points of an issue.  We give you
just enough information to keep you informed and up to date that

you don't hear from the main stream media .

In this issue I'll tackle why America is divided.

This county is splintering.  And that's
whats alarming.  If you looked at the election results of the last
ten years or so whether state or nationally the vote is almost always
split now.  We are a divided country.  But its one thing to be
divided which is bad enough but now we are breaking apart into
smaller groups.  And if you look over seas at countries before they
collapsed, the people were so divided they started to fight amongst
themselves each claiming to know the direction.  And thats where we
are heading towards and fast because we do not have a leader, we have
a divider.

President Reagan was known as the Great
Communicator.  He spawned the do it yourself movement.  Many small
businesses flourished under his tenure.  They didn't want to rely on
the government.  People felt patriotic.  But what do we have today as
president?  Baraak Obama - The Great Divider.  We have people
boasting I got a Obama phone, people complaining I want my government
program.  Everyone is out for himself as long as YOU pay for it.

And instead of trying to push this
country forward, time and time again Obama still blames the previous
8 years under Bush.  Did Reagan continually blame Carter?  Even if
Bush was to blame when do we move on from this? When do we heal this
wound and unite?

But it doesn't stop there.  Obama is
taking on other issues and making stances that are purely divisive in
nature instead of working for the common good of America.  Why?
Because he is paying his dues to the splinter groups of America that
got him elected.  Politics at its worse.

We are still a country at war.  But
Obama pandered to the homosexual lobbyist and made a spectacle of our
military by pushing for the repeal of DADT.  A divisive issue if
there ever was one.  Same sex marriages the same thing.  First he was
against it and now he is grappling with it.  Are these issues that
affect a very small segment of America and divides the nation further
that important while unemployment is above 9% and foreclosures are
still going on at a high rate?  Divide – divide – divide!

What about America's history of being
a Christian nation?  President Bush Jr. had events each year in
office for the National Day of Prayer but Obama, he goes over seas
and says we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.  More
divisive talk.

In Wisconsin Governor Walker tried to
do whats best for his state by reigning  in unions so he could
balance the budget.  What did Obama call Walkers efforts?  An assault
on unions.  D-i-v-i-d-e!

Obama called people who are involved
with the Tea Party "Tea Baggers" but the thugs on Wall
Street he can understand their frustration.

So its no wonder America is splintering
because Obama is catering to these small special interest groups that
got him elected at the expense of the masses.

And this is very scary because one
thing Obama does know how to do is unite the divided. When he said to
quit whining and put on your marching boots people took him at his
word.  And that's exactly whats going on.  Unlike the Tea Party who
have a real purpose of trying to restore this country to its founding
principles. the protesters on Wall Street and else where that are
marching are clueless and angry with no goal other than to bring down
corporations and America.   But what did you expect, did you expect
them to be organized and with a plan?  Their leader after all is -
The Great Divider.

Listen Folks, we need to stay united
and focused.  We can not allow ourselves to be lumped in with what is
going on on Wall Street.  Some are comparing the protesters to the
Tea Party.  The only thing that is comparable is the anger present on
both sides.  But the Tea Party anger is much different than the
protesters anger.  There is righteous anger that makes you thirst for
noble and just things.  Thats what the Tea Party has.  But what the
protesters have is mob anger and the only thing that comes out of mob
anger is mob rule, and mob rule leads into tyranny which ultimately
leads right into bondage.

So stay focused friends and make sure
your anger is on the side of justice because we can and will prevail
to restore this nation once again back to greatness.

Maybe its the sudden cool air that brought back my creativity again.  I mean its hard to see any humor in whats been going on lately.  High unemployment of over 10%, gas at or near 4 bucks the whole summer.  But I guess there is the bright side to everything, if you're unemployed you don't have to worry about the high gas prices to go to and from work.

A woman who killed her newlywed husband and chopped and cooked his body parts back in 1991 is seeking release from a California prison.  Her defense was a sandwich is a sandwich but a manwich is a meal.

Romney is being urged to break from Republicans and run third party.
Possible new names for the party would be  Which way the wind blows party or I was against it before I was for it but I could be against it again party and his choice for VP would be John Kerry. 

Mitt Romney said that he loves the Tea Party so much he wants to buy one for his own.

Herman Cain will appear on the cable tv show curb appeal.  He said the first thing you want to make sure is that you don't have a larger boulder as a drive way marker that says niggerhead. Tha's not to appealin'.

Michelle Obama went to Africa on vacation.  If she really wanted to see black people in need and save America a whole lot of money, she should of stayed here in the US and visit any inner city.

Michelle Obama defended her vacation ala queen style and said all she was trying to do was stimulate the economy.

China is all behind Obama's job plan for new roads.  They are also very excited that Portland cement may be made in China soon. 

Republicans have come up with a far simpler jobs plan of their own.  Its called fire Obama and put people back to work. 

Labor Unions are flocking to NY City.  And in typical Union fashion while they stand around and protest the rest of America goes to work.

So Governor Chris Christy has decided not to run.  Some say its his weight.  I think they are wrong, we are against big government - not big governors.

The NBA is going on strike.  This is a BIG ouch.  Unemployment for blacks under Obama has reached new highs and now this.

I enjoy being on air with Bob. He is a very interesting person with so much knowledge and experiences to draw from that there is never a lack of something to talk about. Bob also can go from being very serious to humorous back to serious in no time. He could fill up a much longer show no problem.

Each show I get a little more at ease. When I first was invited to go on I asked what is the format or topics? I was told “Topics? We don't even know, we decide the day of the show.”

All I get to prepare is an email either the night before or a few hours before we are to tape briefly hi-lighting a few topics or asking if there something specific I care to talk about. That's it! And even then its not guaranteed we use what we prepared for, we could throw out the whole list and talk about something all together different.

So its a bit of a challenge but it does keep things fresh and more honest. Sometimes when you over prepare you come out looking canned or plastic, sort of... well... like Mitt Romney.

What I am going to do in this news letter is have you get involved. I will share with you my notes that I brought into the studio on Wednesday the 28^th.   I know things happen so incredibly fast today thats it hard to keep up. In years past if you got a breaking news story once a month was a lot, today you could get a couple in a day. Obama said We won't get to where we need to go if we don't travel on this road together.

  We are now in hyper inflation, they try to say otherwise but don't believe them.  We use to have Dime Stores, then Dollar Stores and now we have Leave Your Wallet stores.

  Rep. Ron Paul wants to legalize pot.  I am not sure if thats such a good idea.  I mean people are already going hungry, do we really need more people with the munchies?

It was a full house in the booth as we had the pleasure of Mike Gutierrez dropping by. Mike is back from a short exodus to California. He is one of the most gifted speakers I know, just a natural. Mike gave us info on SB5 and the mess California is in.

And Rusty Bliss he is always welcome, he is the Tea Party candidate for Senate. A great guy with a lot of enthusiasm for life.

I am still stumbling around at times on air. My problem is I have so many thoughts that want to come out all at once that they just collide in midair and come out broken.

Where I was headed when I said iron sharpens iron is this:

We are in the campaign season for presidential candidates where strong heated debates are not only needed but healthy. This is the best time for exchange of ideas and visions. This is when candidates are made or broken, where the weak are separated from the strong. This is a time when whomever wins hones his or her skill to represent America. If a candidate can make it through the campaign season and win a grueling primary, then that person is ready for the job of president because its that trying.

As supporters and delegates we also are in this fight as if we are running for president, if you are going to be effective to get your candidate elected that is how you have to think.

America is on a downward spiral right now. No one is denying this. We have seen what has happened since the Democrats have been elected. We are witnessing firsthand the failed policies of Liberalism. If America has any chance of correcting her path, it has to come from within the Republican Party. The question is which candidate?

This current field of Republican candidates is a very diversified group. There is a candidate for EVERYONE! No one has been left out.

If you lean more on the less government Libertarian side of being Republican you have a choice between Rep. Ron Paul or Gov. Gary Johnson.

If you love the thinking and morals of President Reagan you have Sen. Rick Santorum who mirrors him in many ways,

If you feel its time for a woman to step forward and one that has dignity and intelligence there is Michelle Bachman.

If you want a true black American, a businessman, someone with morals and one who truly loves America, Herman Cain is your man.

Anyone one of these candidates I feel would represent America well and have her best interest in heart.

So keep in mind this is the campaign season, we are suppose to have some in party fighting, we are suppose to try and beat our fellow man but also remember when its over, we need to unify because the real enemy of freedom is in the Whitehouse, that is our goal to remove liberalism and restore America.

This is the information age. At no other time in history has so much knowledge been available to man. There is no reason for any of us here in America to vote ignorant. All of us because of the computer, the 24 hour news channels, radio shows, even our show America News and Views, can educate ourselves quite easily if we want to.

We are in a battle, our country is in danger. So please educate yourself on the candidates. Make a choice, get involved, support him or her. And if by chance your pick doesn't make it, regroup, get on board with the person who does win the Republican nomination because America's hope rests with the party of morals and values and of course.... God.

Host Bob Murphy and Carey Masci were in the studio with co-director Greg Sasse of the newly formed Lake County Ohio Tea Party.


I have been asked, Does this mean Carey you are no longer president of the Lake County Tea Party?

If you have been listening to America News and Views or for those who know me quite well, I am more grassroots. My strong points are writing which I blog frequently on different sites, sending letters and emails which I constantly do, and meeting people that I try my best to inform as many as possible no matter where I may be on important issues and current events.

Also I am more involved on the western end of Lake County and the eastern end of Cuyahoga County, specifically Euclid. What co-director Greg Sasse will do with the newly formed Lake County Ohio Tea Party is expand, hold rallies and meet ups. So it was no problem them stepping in and grabbing the title. But I have already been in discussion with Joe Udovic of the Euclid Tea Party, who does basically what I have been doing, into maybe joining forces and calling it the Lake Tea Party. Since Euclid is obviously by Lake Erie and I live in Lake County I think the name fits perfectly.

Either way I will still be the voice of the Lake County Tea Party and if you have any news, meet up or gathering let me know and I will spread the word and talk about it on air.

There is room for everyone. As long as each group formed sticks to solid Tea Party principles of less government and being on the moral side of issues there should be no problem. We just need to remember we are ALL in this together.

I like to bring up something that I stumbled all over on the show. I brought up the issue of how our government always seems to rebuild roads that don't need them and then I talked about the Philippines. The Philippines which is suppose to be a third world country gets it. The Senate President Enrile wants to take road tax money and use it in other areas that really need the money. In this article in the Philippine Star he goes on to say good roads are inexplicably made to undergo repair or destroyed all together to make way for new ones. He wants to stop this.

How many times do we see this in the US? Plenty. The reason is it makes it look like your tax dollar is being well spent. We all see the road work being done and we think our dollars are at work. But have you ever gone into the inner city? I shop on occasion on Buckeye and Woodland in Cleveland. Those roads look like bombs were dropped on them. These roads need the repairs. Why isn't money being used there? Because, call me crazy if you want, but I believe one of the reasons is because those people are going to vote Democratic anyway so why do anything.

That's why we do not need another Obama stimulus plan. More road projects in areas that are not needed. Money misspent. This is not how you jump start the economy.

The September 8th show was about limiting government, socialism, welfare and the importance of the Tea Party movement. If we are to turn this country around it has to center around this movement AND lets never forget GOD. The Tea Party needs to hold true and steadfast, not waiver, push the Republican Party back to its roots. Whether its a home group, a local meet up group, or part of a larger national group, stay informed and involved.

I am proud to be a part of this historic Tea Party movement, one that will be talked about years and years into the future as a defining moment and movement in American history that restored freedom and our country to its founding principles. God Bless America!
