2 for 1 FURTHERMORE - The news letter of America News and Views Feb. 9 & 16

America News and Views news letter - FURTHERMORE
Host Bob Murphy, Liaison for the Tea Party Carey Masci, and our guest Private
Equity Manager Mark Holder were in the booth. The following week Senatorial
Candidate Rusty Bliss and our boss Chairman Fellows joined us for the second
half.
  Chairman Fellows was like a little kid on Christmas morning bursting in brimming with news Santorum is taking off like a rocket and our next president will be at the Lake County Lincoln Day dinner!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since I didn’t get a chance last week to write the newsletter I will combine last weeks show with this weeks.
The show on February 9th we talked about how Santorum did very well in the states with caucuses.  I love the idea of caucuses but Mark Holder is not too fond of them.  He thinks voting is something personal and private and shouldn’t be done in an open forum.  Mark has very valid points and he also stressed that people can be intimidated to vote against their choice.  Again he has very valid points and maybe he is right but I disagreed for this reason.
 In a caucus setting you can hear pro’s and cons.  Too many times people vote strictly on sound bites or name recognition because they hear the ads without truly knowing the issue or the candidate.  Too prove my point the states Romney won he deluged the airwaves with ads and people voted for him.  In caucus states Santorum supporters showed up and revealed the truth behind those ads and the candidate.
Here’s another example how advertising works and why MILLIONS are spent on campaigns.  I ran
into a friend and told him I became a delegate for Santorum.  He said why, I thought Romney had the
nomination locked up.  Here is a person who votes but does not have the time or passion to research the candidates in full and was buying the lie that the GOP choice was already picked.
Next topic.
The perfect storm broke in favor of Santorum.  The healthcare fight reared its ugly head at
the right time.  People are finally realizing that our government is forcing us to do things against our will and beliefs.  This is more than just a healthcare issue.  Santorum has been talking about this since day one.
Even if Catholic churches are exempt from performing abortions or providing contraception’s they are still upset as their tax dollars as well as ours who are against this will still be funding the plan.  Plain and simple, Obama Care needs to go!
Another thing in favor of Santorum was the unfortunate illness of his daughter Bella.  This
showed the passion and character of the man.  Rick took time out to be with her during a hectic campaign schedule and the media what did they do?  They tried playing it as if Santorum was going home because he was dropping out of the race.  People saw right through this and made them even more upset of the cold callous behavior of the media.
Compare Santorums actions doing all he can to save his special needs daughter to that of Obama who while as senator was against giving care to infants who survived abortions.  Terrible.
New Strategy
The media is now scrambling to reassess what is happening in the Republican race.  They were heralding Romney the winner, the only one who is electable, the only one who could beat Obama.  Of course we know why they said this.  One of two reasons, Mitt is the establishment pick and or he can’t beat Obama.
But now with the Santorum surge Lawrence O’Donnell had this to say about Mitt that he is the most liberal Republican candidate while Santorum is the most conservative.  DUH??? No kidding.  He then went on to say this is what he has been waiting for, Obama against Santorum, (OH REALLY) the liberal vs. conservative debate, with Mitt you would only get an empty suit.  And as I have said since April, C-O-N-T-R-A-S-T, CONTRAST!  That’s what you will get with Santorum winning the GOP nomination contrast compared to Obama.
Bring on the debate, I am excited also.
Something’s to think about
Word has it some factories are returning to the states.  In Governor Kasich’s State of the State address he pointed out a few examples of this.  Obama is touting that he was responsible.  Well something to think about… could it also be the high price of fuel returning these jobs?  It may be cheaper to build it here than built it over seas and ship it in.
Look for this mini recovery to sputter.  Oil is spiking.  Every time the economy picks up a little bit those whom ever they are push the oil up, then when the economy bottoms, oil backs off.  This
process keeps being repeated but each time when oil drops it’s a little bit higher than the previous mark.  It seems they are determined for us to pay 5 bucks per gallon.
Look for the contraceptive and abortion to stay part of Obama Care.  The only way to get rid of those two provisions is to totally get rid of the healthcare bill.  Why do I say this?  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or restricting the free exercise thereof.  Well in the past when it was for society’s good congress did interfere with religion, not allowing Mormons more than one wife and in the past courts have ruled you can not deny medical attention to children because
of religious beliefs, just two examples. So if the courts decide that contraception and abortion are for the good of society, they will stay in the healthcare bill.
Friends,
Things are breaking our way.
Conservatism will win out over evil.  I truly believe God is not done with this country but we have to be open to his leading.  We as individuals have to do the right thing and never retreat.
And Santorum…. Well he could be the Godly leader this nation has been sorely looking for.
 Bob Murphy
Iowa and Ron Paul - FURTHERMORE news letter of America News and Views
 America News and Views news letter – FURTHERMORE
Host Bob Murphy and Our Boss – Lake County GOP Chairman Dale Fellows were in the booth.
Make sure you listen to the show, they do an excellent job reviewing the Iowa caucus and what it means and they talk about other news you need to hear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I know everything moves so fast these days and that the Iowa caucus is already old news but doing a once a week news letter like this this was the only chance I had to address it.

Well I was right about the results in Iowa wasn't I and boy was I wrong wasn't I?

I was not at all surprised that Santorum did so well. I said weeks prior he would. In fact I would of bet everything I had he was going to take the top prize so it was little consolation he lost by a measly 8 votes.
But I was very shocked Mitt placed as high as he did and Perry and Bachman bombed even though I did say Bachman would drop out immediately after. I figured it this way. I thought people were fed up with the establishment and that would weaken Mitts base with those votes going to Paul. I thought the moderately Conservative crowd would go to Perry which would draw more away from Mitt leaving him at the bottom.

If you break this down and study it this is what it shows. Once again, the masses that are spread out away from the city vote Conservative. Santorum had won more land mass by a HUGE margin. But those huddled in the cities vote more liberal and don't care as much about social issues. So all it takes is plenty of money to run ads in cities and you can win an election or come pretty close to it. That was Mitts game plan and he did it well.

This next topic may seem that I'm biased towards Santorum, I am after all a delegate to represent him, but I also represent America News and Views and the Republican party so I try my best to be fair writing these news letters. One thing I don't believe in is President Reagan's law of not speaking ill of a fellow Republican. I feel if someone strays to far or does not speak the truth or stand up for the principles of the party it should be brought out.

The candidate that is really irking me right now is Ron Paul. He has been relentlessly attacking Santorum on earmarks and calling him a big government Conservative. But if you dig deeper you see that Paul has had his share. In 2009 Rep. Paul had sponsored or co-sponsored 23 earmarks for a total of - $80,775,750 ranking him 33rd out of 435 representatives and in 2010 15 earmarks totaling $17,113,000 ranking him 242nd. (taken from OpenSecrets.org)

Worse than that is what Gov. Perry slipped in during the Saturday night debate about Rep. Paul that I don't think many picked up on. The fact the Paul adds all these earmarks and then votes against the spending bill to make it look like he is against it. So what's the difference between Paul and Santorum? At least Santorum tells you he fights for his constituents to get money for them.

Continuing on... Paul is really alienating a lot of people with his attacks whether during the debate or his ads. Ron Paul's army needs to get a hold of their man and reign him in. Santorum has said repeatedly I am not a Libertarian, I am a Conservative. So instead of Paul attacking Santorum on what he is and that is being a successful Conservative Paul should concentrate on promoting his Libertarian differences and why they are better.  This goes for Santorum also that it would be unwise to attack Paul's Libertarian position on cutting the armed forces, drugs and same sex marriage even though it does align more with Democratic thinking.

Paul has to realize he needs to meet Republicans where they agree and promote his ideas where they don't.
All this knifing and back and forth will spell doom for the party and we will either be left with Romney or Obama to vote for and whats the difference there?

Finally some traction has been made uncovering something I said months ago that Mitt is a money maker but not not a job creator. The numbers are starting to come out of his past business ventures about adding jobs.

Here is a question for you, I am tired of people being puppets of the media and repeating exactly what they say with no research. So, next time you meet me I want this question answered: Mitt stands the best chance to beat Obama and Mitt knows how to run a business because.... – WHY?  Please tell me.

heartwarming facts about mitt

Every time I hear Mitt say family values I want to throw up.  He has no clue what that means.  A man of values understands the harm done not only to society but the heart and soul of an individual who practices same sex.

Please please please study the link below before voting for this man.

http://www.massresistance.org/docs/marriage/romney/timeline.html

Do you think this is right????

 2000-2002: As head of Salt Lake City Olympic Committee, Romney banned Boy Scouts from participating.

Well do you?????

Gay men and men who have sex with men face an increased risk of specific health concerns....
Men who have sex with men are at increased risk of contracting HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, as well as other sexually transmitted infections, including gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis
Vaccinations can protect you from hepatitis A and hepatitis B, serious liver infections that can spread through sexual contact.
There's no cure for HIV/AIDS and many sexually transmitted infections, such as human papillomavirus (HPV) and genital herpes. The best way to stay healthy is to protect yourself.
Gay men and men who have sex with men might be at higher risk of depression and anxiety. In addition, youth who identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender might have a higher risk of depression and attempted suicide.
 taken from the Mayo Clinic website

Knowing all this and the added health care cost not only for individuals but the whole country, because ALL of us do pay for this behavior, what man of morals or values supports this kind of life style?  Ask Mitt because I don't.

''How is it possible, I wonder, to believe in the existence of God yet refuse to express outrage when his moral code is flouted?' To have faith in God, but to reject moral absolutes? How is it possible that there exists so little space in the public square for expressions of faith and the standards that follow from belief in a transcendent God?''

FURTHERMORE - The news letter of America News and Views November 10th

America News and Views news letter - FURTHERMORE

Host Bob Murphy was not in but National Commentator Mike Gutierrez took his place along with Liaison for the Tea Party Carey Masci, our own US Senate candidate Rusty Bliss and Josh Guzic from Breakdown Radio fame were in the studio.

It was great to walk in the studio and see Josh sitting there. He is very knowledgeable and his presence created an excitement of past days when he and Mike Gutierrez were doing their radio show. It was a fast paced half hour with lots of info thrown out.

Lets get to the newsletter.

I have been keeping an eye on Herman Cain since about February and his sudden meteoric rise and falling back down to earth in recent days. Should we count him out, absolutely not we still have a long process to go through. Polls rise and fall. But what bothers me the most with Cain are his supporters. Why? Because I was disturbed by the amount of money Cain raised when the allegations of sexual harassment were brought to light.

I understand the anti-media and liberal sentiment going on that made supporters run to Cain’s defense but we still needed to hear what else might come out. Suppose the allegations against Cain were true and new ones surfaced. Would the Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party be any better than the Democrats who flock to their leaders and still support them regardless of what they do or did? I think not. The problem here is very simple – emotions!

I have heard the most absurd reasons why people like or don't like a candidate and its mostly based on emotions. A few of things I have heard against candidates are Bachman's voice is to whiny, Santorum makes faces, Paul is to old, what! How shallow is this reasoning? Very! The Right is supposed to be far more intelligent, informed and knowledgeable about issues and candidates than the Left and yet when I hear this sort of talk I shudder.

We keep saying how much we hate and disagree with how the media try's to manipulate our thinking. But until the voting public, especially Republicans and Independents, keep their emotions in check and vote by looking at the issue and or record of the candidate along with what the candidate says we will keep receiving shock treatment news from the media to sway our opinion into their agenda because they know it works. Wise up people.

Now the above was directed to those informed and involved but this comment is about the general public who votes strictly by sound bites and what the mainstream media says.

I am troubled by what I am seeing going on with the media. It has become so blatantly slanted its hard to believe much of what is being broadcast. For instance on Fox news they aired the show “The Fight for Iowa”. They hardly mentioned Senator Rick Santorum who has visited all 99 counties in Iowa and won a very worthy endorsement from the National Federation of Republican Assemblies and endorsements from Chuck Laudner (former Executive Director and Interim Chairman of the Iowa Republican Party), Lori Jungling (Iowa co-chairman of HuckPAC) and Shane Vander Heart (conservative blogger at CaffeinatedThoughts.com) but the show gave more than enough time to Mitt Romney who isn’t going all out in Iowa because of the uncertainty that he can win it. If this isn’t biased what is?

IF Santorum received even a quarter of the free press the media constantly gives to build up their candidate Mitt Romney where would Rick be in the polls?

But Santorum isn’t the only one. What about Rep. Ron Paul? Whether you like him or not he is a main player but you would never know it judging it from the media. Even during the debates, which most are just a sham, Paul gets largely ignored. How fair is this?

So the Tea Party and the rest of the activist patriots have a tall order to fill, educating and getting through to the public who still believe what they hear on the news is the gospel truth. If we don’t we will be stuck with Obama or Obama lite Romney.

Carey Masci

Friends,
The thing we need to keep in mind is the enemy is Obama and his socialist agenda. Newt keeps pounding this drum and so do I.

We need to stay focused, stay united to defeat Obama before he completely dismantles the America we know and our way of life. We cannot give up this fight.

America is still the world’s hope and America’s hope lies in God not with government, especially a government that believes it should be the supplier of all your needs. That is not the role of government that is the role of God.

FURTHERMORE - The news letter of America News and Views Sept. 22nd

America News and Views news letter - FURTHERMORE

Host Bob Murphy and Carey Masci were joined by US Senate Candidate Rusty Bliss and former State Rep Candidate Mike Gutierrez
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a full house in the booth as we had the pleasure of Mike Gutierrez dropping by. Mike is back from a short exodus to California. He is one of the most gifted speakers I know, just a natural. Mike gave us info on SB5 and the mess California is in.
And Rusty Bliss he is always welcome, he is the Tea Party candidate for Senate. A great guy with a lot of enthusiasm for life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am still stumbling around at times on air. My problem is I have so many thoughts that want to come out all at once that they just collide in midair and come out broken.

Where I was headed when I said iron sharpens iron is this:

We are in the campaign season for presidential candidates where strong heated debates are not only needed but healthy. This is the best time for exchange of ideas and visions. This is when candidates are made or broken, where the weak are separated from the strong. This is a time when whomever wins hones his or her skill to represent America. If a candidate can make it through the campaign season and win a grueling primary, then that person is ready for the job of president because its that trying.

As supporters and delegates we also are in this fight as if we are running for president, if you are going to be effective to get your candidate elected that is how you have to think.

America is on a downward spiral right now. No one is denying this. We have seen what has happened since the Democrats have been elected. We are witnessing firsthand the failed policies of Liberalism. If America has any chance of correcting her path, it has to come from within the Republican Party. The question is which candidate?

This current field of Republican candidates is a very diversified group. There is a candidate for EVERYONE! No one has been left out.

If you lean more on the less government Libertarian side of being Republican you have a choice between Rep. Ron Paul or Gov. Gary Johnson.

If you love the thinking and morals of President Reagan you have Sen. Rick Santorum who mirrors him in many ways,

If you feel its time for a woman to step forward and one that has dignity and intelligence there is Michelle Bachman.

If you want a true black American, a businessman, someone with morals and one who truly loves America, Herman Cain is your man.

Anyone one of these candidates I feel would represent America well and have her best interest in heart.

So keep in mind this is the campaign season, we are suppose to have some in party fighting, we are suppose to try and beat our fellow man but also remember when its over, we need to unify because the real enemy of freedom is in the Whitehouse, that is our goal to remove liberalism and restore America.

Carey Masci

Friends,

This is the information age. At no other time in history has so much knowledge been available to man. There is no reason for any of us here in America to vote ignorant. All of us because of the computer, the 24 hour news channels, radio shows, even our show America News and Views, can educate ourselves quite easily if we want to.

We are in a battle, our country is in danger. So please educate yourself on the candidates. Make a choice, get involved, support him or her. And if by chance your pick doesn't make it, regroup, get on board with the person who does win the Republican nomination because America's hope rests with the party of morals and values and of course.... God.

Don't drink the tea? - Republican presidental hopefuls square off in Tampa Monday (Tea Party Debate)

This is pure BUNK shame on America and thee media for manipulating our election.

This is a Tea Party debate??? Oh really? CNN and the Tea Party Express? The Tea Party Express should now be viewed as hostile to our movement, do not support it, stick to your home groups. Shame on you and the rest for believing this is actually a Tea Party debate.

A tea party debate should be for true tea party candidates.

Mitt Romney is an immoral liar, and Huntsman is is a Rhino plus he is way behind in the polls and yet they allow him in the photo but exclude Santorum who has character and morals.

Any Tea Party group knows that Romney is a globalist and being built up as the candidate only so when the presidential election comes he will easily get defeated by Obama. Wake up and quit drinking the tea. Toss is back into the harbor.

Protect your mind from such nonsense, watch the debate with guarded eyes. Do not believe all you see and or hear. Its a sham!

Carey Masci

Tampa, FL -- The eyes of the political world will once again be on Tampa Monday when the eight leading Republican candidates for president square off in a national debate from the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Scheduled to participate in the "Tea Party Debate" sponsored by CNN and the Tea Party Express are Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann, businessman Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Texas Representative Ron Paul, Texas Governor Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

The event will be moderated by CNN's lead political anchor Wolf Blitzer, who says the toughest part of his job is to make sure the candidates all get equal time.

"When you have eight candidates up on a stage you try and be fair, you want to make sure all of them get as much time as the others," Blitzer said.

But unlike other debates, the moderator will not be the only one asking questions on Monday. Audience members will also be allowed to quiz the candidates. Plus, questions will be taken from Tea Party members at debate watch parties in Arizona, Ohio and Virginia.

In addition, Blitzer says people at home will be able to submit questions online through Facebook, Twitter or www.CNNPolitics.com.

"When I interviewed President Obama in Iowa a few weeks ago, I got a lot of good questions from my Twitter followers. When I interviewed D*** Cheney in Los Angeles, I got a lot of good questions from Facebook or Twitter, so this interaction with people out there is really great."

Subjects expected to be discussed on Monday include the size of government, social security, taxes and, of course, the economy.

Blitzer adds his hope is that voters come away informed.

"My hope is that people will emerge from the debate a little bit smarter and have a better educated vote than they would before.

Monday's 2-hour debate begins at 8 p.m. and can be seen on CNN. Share Twitter Facebook

America News and Views news letter - FURTHERMORE

Host Bob Murphy and Carey Masci were manning the mics on August 18Th as co-host Dale Fellows was up north in Canada and prominent lake county attorney Geoff Weaver could not make it.
While Dale was fishing Bob wasted little time before wading into the murky waters of whats going on locally and nationally, so many issues, so many problems, so much to talk about.

Furthermore....

Bob asked Carey what is going on with Euclid you have a problem with them. Carey said Bill O Reily gave a short description of socialism, its when government takes over commerce and property. This is in parallel with the horrible housing policies of Euclid. Socialist policies that make it extremely difficult to sell houses in Euclid. Realtors have been asking Euclid to please ease up.

A new proposal being looked at is even worse then the current rules in place. It has landlords taking classes with the Euclid Police and housing department and EPD maintains contact info. This is not only big government which we are fighting against, this is HUGE government.

Euclid is trying to change results without changing the cause that made the result. Bob understands and says it stems from inept leaders, NO vision. What needs to be done is repealing of the mandatory house inspections which are unconstitutional and put in place a system that is based on laws being violated. If a house is deemed unsafe from the outside or repeated calls to the police or housing dept from neighbors, then you have probable cause to enter.

Bob also made comments on how they have destroyed the real estate market by micromanaging. Its all grinding down, the government has a strangle hold on free enterprise which ties in with Obama.

How did Obama get elected? By anti-American sentiment. People no longer want to work, they want their entitlements, they want the government to take care of them. All anti-American thinking. Bob feels that at least 35% of people living in America are anti American. What this country needs is a strong pro-American leader, someone who makes you feel proud and patriotic.

Carey explained what the straw poll in Iowa showed. The results showed that its not the economy stupid its the morals. Three of the top four spots were won by moral Christian Conservative Candidates and the one that doesn't waiver the most in his message is Rick Santorum. If you want this country to turn around you need a strong moral person as president.

It was an informative 30 minutes that challenged the voting public to get involved. It's up to us to change things.

I don't bash just to bash, I do it to make a point, I do it to inform and educate, I do it because I love this country. I still believe America is the beacon of light to the world. Its up to us to make sure it continually shines.
Your Friend,

Bob Murphy.

This is whats wrong with the GOP - they do not police the party

Republican presidential candidate Gary Johnson thinks the pledge that an Iowa Christian conservative group is circulating is offensive because it condemn gays, single parents, divorcees, Muslims, women who choose to have abortions “and everyone else who doesn’t fit in a Norman Rockwell painting.”
The Family Leader, a conservative advocacy group led by Sioux City’s Bob Vander Plaats, last week introduced a pledge that calls for fidelity to one’s spouse, vigorous opposition to anything but monogamous one-man/one-woman marriage, a cooling off period for those seeking a fast divorce, earnest legal defense of the Defense of Marriage Act, rejection of Sharia Islam and all other anti-woman forms of totalitarian control, recognition of the benefits of robust childbearing and reproduction, action against any illegal pornography, and protection for women from forced prostitution and forced abortion

taken from
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/article/20110710/NEWS09/110710001/-1/

People who have strong moral principles and stand up for what this country was founded on understand the above pledge.  As for Gary Johnson, he should be censored from the Republican Party.

Even here locally with the Lake GOP we have by laws and principles to follow. If we don't make sure they are being followed why have them? Just lets become the party of anything goes.

Carey Masci

Important side notes: Mitt Romney also refused to sign it. Rick Santorum was the first to sign the above pledge as well as Michelle Bachman. And a note to my friends who are now leaning more towards the Libertarian thinking Repubs, is this the kind of person you want as president someone who won't stand up for whats right?

Finally some good news and correcting the liberals once again

Finally some good news. Way to go Santorum and Bachman.
Wouldn't that be a sweet ticket - Santorum and Bachman.

NOW READ THIS.
The leftist liberal spin monster socialists jumped all over Santorum and Bachman for signing this vow because of language in it that pertained to slavery. They said what is wrong with these two for signing such a bill with a reference to slavery, shame on them. (paraphrased)

This is the paragraph of the marriage vow the screwed up left complained about:

"Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA's first African-American President," the vow read.(taken from the NY Post)

Well this is what my research has dug up:

During the days of slavery a black child was more likely to grow up living with both parents than he or she is today.
Andrew J. Cherlin, Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage, rev. and enl. ed., (Cambridge, Mass.: Harvard University Press, 1992), 110 . See also Herbert G. Gutman, The Black Family in Slavery and Freedom, 1750-1925 (New York: Pantheon, 1976). For a review of this and similar studies see Stanley L. Engerman, "Black Fertility and Family Structure in the U.S. 1880-1940," Journal of Family History 2 (Summer 1977): 177ff.   Cited in The Abolition of Marriage, by Maggie Gallagher  page 117

(taken from http://www.divorcereform.org/black.html)

Then I dug this up about Dr. Blackman, who is she? Just look at her photo http://www.keepingfamilyfirst.org/blackman2007.html,

Then I went to this link http://www.keepingfamilyfirst.org/blackmaninterview.htmland read her interview.

These are a few lines from it:
Q........ You mentioned slavery--- we've heard individuals talk about the lingering effects of the institution of slavery being one of the causes for family problems in the black community. In his book published by the Harvard University Press, Andrew Cherlin states that, During the days of slavery a black child was more likely to grow up living with both parents than he or she is today..
A. (Dr. Blackman) Absolutely and the data is solid.

So the leftist liberals don't even research what they rant about? Anything a white conservative says or does is automatically wrong! Especially shame on the black liberal I saw foaming at the mouth on CNN complaining about Santorum and Bachman. They are doing nothing but trying to stand up for whats right. Why don't these leftist unGodly people just leave this country instead of spewing their divisive hate? And why doesn't the Christian Conservatives fight back instead of caving in?

In the mean time, lets get behind Santorum and Bachman.
