So Many thoughts…..

So Many thoughts…..

So many thoughts where do I begin????
February just ended, a month that I don’t particularly like.  The anticipation of March and warmer weather makes this month drag on an on, thank goodness for the Winter Cookout/Freeze Fest.

There is another reason why I dislike February.  It is black history month. I get nauseated of the constant reminder of all things black.  To me it is racist to designate a month or even a day to a certain race or nationality.  Sure we have St. Patrick’s Day and Columbus Day that the Irish and Italians have adopted as their own but it isn’t designated as an Irish or Italian day.

Our Declaration of Independence states - We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.  ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, I will be bringing this up again later.  So why are we giving a full month to one race especially when a day in January is given to honor Martin Luther King Jr. which really is a black holiday?

What about the countless caucasians and other races who gave their lives for the cause of freedom to free the slaves and give equal rights to blacks?  What about those who were raised without any form of prejudism this designation of a certain month for black history makes even less sense.

Black history month has done nothing to unify this nation but has divided it further.  It’s time that blacks recognize that they have more than arrived and to quit looking back and embrace the future.  Never forget the past but quit living in it.  .

At least this year the Olympics took the spotlight off black history which made it a bit more palatable.  It’s the first time in many years that I watched most of the Olympics from the opening ceremony on. My mental notes during the opening parade of nations when America walked out was of disgust.  Teem USA was chanting U-S-A over and over again.  It’s one thing to show pride hooting and hollering during an event between cities or states but it’s another thing when you are representing a country.  I thought it was classless.  What did all this ranting get America that should have easily won more medals than the other countries especially since we had over 220 competing?  It got us a distant second place finish to Russia and barely above third place Norway.   U-S-A maybe we should be shouting back You-A-Shamed?

Even more unsettling, a hundred times more unsettling, is the constant barrage of homosexuals and lesbians.  I found it even hard to watch some of the male ice skaters because of their feminine actions and way of talking.  Remember they were representing the US.  Is this what we want the world to see us as?

What about pro-sports.  Why is it even news when an athlete announces he is a homosexual?  Why is the media playing it over and over again as if it’s some great feat?  What are we celebrating?

Referring back to the Declaration of Independence it states - We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.  ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.  Got that?  All men.  But what isn’t created equal?  Behavior.  This homosexual behavior is frowned upon by all major religions.  The pushing of this behavior is an all out attack on religion and our beliefs.  It will never be accepted by the majority of people so it will have to be forced on us and unfortunately it may come with jail time and or fines if we don’t.  What people do behind closed doors is their business; I am just tired of the constant pushing and trying to make us accept it.  And for most of us, we never will.

So tell me how are all you Republicans feeling about Governor Jan Brewer now?

To be continued…..

What we are up against

I normally don't post such matters on Facebook but I needed to vent and quickly after what I heard on the local news network so I did.

This is what I posted:

Our communist government led by the illegal in chief has once again disregarded the Constitution by recognizing same sex marriage. This is in clear violation of our religious heritage that is protected by the First Amendment which states Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. There are millions of Americans who will not and can not recognize or accept homosexual marriage because of their religious beliefs. America has fallen.

I received a reply from a so called socialist friends as she calls herself, this is what she responded with, exactly as she wrote it:

Blah blah constitution really I'm dick if your carp you put it out here you suck open your homophobic mind

I am still learning and trying my best just to write articles and stay away from back & forths that usually only  lead to nowhere but more angst and in the end usually cheapen or destroy the original intended message but this one begged to be answered.

So I wrote in return:

Because YOU have no belief in God or sound education into the founding of this nation and what the Constitution says I feel deeply saddened by your hardness of heart and truth. A person's argument can be judged on whether that person resorts to defaming or name calling. Please argue sensibly with facts. As for my homophobia as you like to label it, it is actually instilled in me from my upbringing, my education in school which taught the basics of reproduction and my belief in Christ. If that offended you please do some inner soul searching.

This is what we are up against.  Ignorance of not only the basics of this country but more importantly the basics of God and life itself.  Knowing this is it any wonder that people on the left who have refuted the very existence of God to treat us with respect?  Not at all.

Easter message 2013

Today with the constant attack on Christians and Christian beliefs worldwide we are worried Christianity is being phased out. Why?  This is nothing new.  Lets look back at the crucifixion to understand today's anti-Christianity movement.

When Jesus was crucified was it because he was evil? Was it because he was a thief, murderer? Nope, it was for none of those reasons. In fact Jesus was blameless without fault. So why did they crucify him? They crucified Jesus because he had the truth and was the truth. The truth bothered people same as it does today.

The Jews and the overly religious thought lets get rid of the guy; we have it so good he’s disrupting our lives. If the people find out Jesus is the way and the truth they will follow him and we will lose our standing. So they crucified him thinking they could get rid of the truth and just continue on with their lives.

Life was good, they got rid of their problem until suddenly - Jesus returned from the grave. Truth won out. Soon followers of Christ started proclaiming the news. Something had to be done to stop this. So the followers of Christ were pursued and beaten some to their death to rid the land of the truth. But it had a reverse affect it didn't stop the truth.  The truth spread and spread and spread.

This same scenario is repeated throughout history as it is today; evil rulers, false religions, worldly sinners one after the other have tried extinguishing the truth all for their own gain, pleasure or to quiet their conscience.  No matter how hard they try to ban the truth it survives and flourishes and the gospel continues to be proclaimed. They just don't understand that when Jesus defeated death truth was released, you cannot kill the truth.

So don't worry about what laws are passed or how hard it is on Christians and Christianity just worry about if you know the truth and if you do you will survive, if not in this age for eternity.

That's the Easter message, knowing the Truth.

You couldn't blame Bush so don't blame Obama.

The anti-Obama fervor is so strong that many jump all over what ever he says without reflecting if it's true or not.  For instance when Obama said America is no longer a Christian nation, Christian Republicans were appalled and up in arms. But was Obama wrong?  Not really. Why? This may be the first time that we have 3 candidates who are not Christians. Obama is of Muslim heritage, Mitt is a Mormon and Gary Johnson whom I support but even he is a non believer.  In fact I have more respect for Obama stating America is no longer a Christian nation than Republicans blasting him. Republicans are suppose to be the home of the Christian Conservative Right. I think its hypocritical for them to get mad at Obama while out campaigning for Romney.  So was Obama wrong?

You couldn't blame Bush so don't blame Obama.  Republicans were so upset every time a Democrat or Obama blamed Bush for the economy. It was the start of many jokes blaming Bush for everything.  But now Repubs are no better than the Dems and possibly worse because now they are playing the blame game they hated so much.  Take jobs for example. Whether you want to admit it or not Obama has little to do with a lot of the job mess were are in. Lets face the facts. JC Penney said they may go to self check out counters and get rid of most cashiers. Newsweek is preparing to downsize it's staff because they will discontinue their magazine and go strictly online.

I don't care who is president this is the modern age and MANY MANY jobs will not be coming back because of reasons like above.

You want jobs to return? Next time instead of buying something online go to the store and spend a few dollars more to save a job. Check for made in America labels. You do these few things as a starter jobs will slowly return.

How bad can Obama really be? IF Obama is as bad as everyone say's he is and as the Republicans claim, the establishment GOP would of said sorry Mitt we do not want your money, you are to divisive, our country is at stake. The establishment should of then rallied around someone like Santorum or Paul or any of the other GOP candidates who said right out they would repeal Obama Care. Instead they rally around Romney who started not only the health care mess but also the same sex marriage battle. So blame the establishment for bowing to Mitts money and dividing this country further and for Obama even being in this race when it should of been decided months ago.

Just keep repeating something long enough and everyone adopts it. The argument from most everyone now who is voting for Romney a liberal Mormon is: I am not voting for Mitt Romney as my religious leader. So are these people saying a candidates religious beliefs don't matter? Lets think about this. Mitt if elected will be a leader and he will lead according to his beliefs. How a person acts, thinks, legislates, dresses etc... all comes from ones beliefs. So ANY leader you vote for, you automatically get his beliefs as well as his religious beliefs. How then can one say I am not voting for Mitt to be my religious leader?  You may not look to a president for spiritaul guidance but he will lead as he is convicted.  So religion does matter.

A vote for Gary Johnson (or anyone else) is a vote for Obama. Do the Democrats say a vote for Jill Stein (or anyone else) is a vote for Mitt? Lets set the record straight. A vote for someone you believe in is a vote for someone you believe in. Can we please stop this nonsense? Vote your moral conscience and don't worry what others say.
