Lets all send a Christmas card to the Rinos

Some of our fine outstanding moral and social Conservatives, some calling themselves Christian Republicans have voted with the liberal homosexual hollywood and socialist/Deomocratic party.

Since they gave us a Christmas present lets send them a Christmas card saying thank you for making the deviant act of homosexual behavior part of our fighting forces. I am so happy that my nation will now be represented by queers.

So Thank you

Susan Collins (R-Maine)

Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)

Mark Kirk (R-Ill.)

Scott Brown (R-Mass.)

Olympia Snowe (R-Maine)

George Voinovich (R-Ohio)

Thank you for a job well done I feel safer now.
CKM

Is this what George Bush Sr. meant when he said a kinder gentler nation??

The proud men of the past who served this nation would vomit if they knew what is going on.

As Mike Huckabee said in his bid for the Republican presidential nominee:
"Let me be very clear - what people do in the privacy of their own lives as adults is their business," Huckabee said. "Don’t want to know; don’t need to know.

"If they bring it into the public square and ask me as a taxpayer to support it or to endorse it, then it becomes a matter of public discussion and, I think, public discourse."

I wrote this in 2006, pretty prophetic

Hey Gang,
Going through my archives for help in an article I am writing and came across this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With the budget being busted, the national debt soaring, the war in Iraq, gas prices rising, GM and Ford on the ropes and other serious issues people ask me how can you be a Republican. Someone told me that I should think about switching parties. So how can I adequately promote this party (Republican) and candidates? How do I answer their criticism?
Here is my answer....
Whether those reasons I listed are the Republicans fault or not people still complain that it has happened under the Bush administration. Instead of arguing otherwise I tell them plain and simple because
of moral and ethic reasons I have to vote Republican. This is still the only party that stands for true American principles and values.
One of the biggest reason for sustained GOP victories is because of the Conservative/Christian right. It is a powerful voting group that is very
firm in their beliefs.
The last few years liberal and moderate Republicans have been grabbing more time in the spotlight. This type of Republican will alienate the base of the party. Whether its McCain stumping with Kerry or Kennedy, people like Giuliani or the Log Cabin Republicans (which is a farce) it will disenfranchise the Conservative Right.
The only way to guarantee that this doesn't happen is to elect true Conservative Republicans. This primary I hope the higher ups in the party don't interfere as they did in 2004 in the Pennsylvania race between Pat Toomey and Arlen Specter or locally here
in XXXX - XXXXX. (had to X that out)
If they do interfere and more liberal and moderates get elected you will see a falling away of this base and the passion the conservative right showed to get Pres. W. Bush elected won't be there or they will vote
democrat in protest.
***** I may be jumping ahead but this does go along with
this topic - I know quite a few Christians and Vietnam vets who won't vote for a McCain ticket in '08. Trust me on this!*******
As for this primary I will be voting for Ken Blackwell for Governor and Tim Grendel for Ohio Attorney General which I believe to be in the true Conservative mold.
Hope you will do the same and support the true conservatives on the ballot this primary.
Sincerely,
Carey Masci
Mike Huckabee the future of the Republican Party
I am still clearing out articles in my draft folder I started and deleting links in my favorites from what I saved during the primaries.
I thoroughly researched everything I could on all the candidates. This link concerns Mike Huckabee. During one of his TV ads he mentioned that he was voted one of the five best governors in 2005 according to Time magazine. I found that commercial on line, played it and paused it at the right spot so I could copy the date and research the article. Here it is: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1129543,00.html
Read it for yourself but two things strike me in this article that I wanted to bring to your attention.
The first one is:
If Huckabee does run, he would have to find a way--as Governor Bill Clinton did in 1992--to divert attention from some of the state's dreary realities, like a high poverty rate,
Yes but you have to remember this is Arkansas not Ohio, Michigan or some of the other states that were known for their economies.
The other is:
Since he became Governor in July 1996, welfare rolls have declined by nearly half, and last year the state's economy grew 4.4%, beating the national average of 4.2%.
That to me is a great accomplishment. Welfare roles declined by nearly half in Arkansas. Unfortunately Mitt Romney and all his money made it seem he was the guy to turn this country's economy around.
I am posting this because I don't think we have heard the last of Mike Huckabee, he could very well be the future of the Republican party.
The Final Word
Its finally over what I knew way back in May '07 was inevitable, they just had to go through the formality of the election process. McCain is crowned the Republican nominee. Its been a long haul. I was very discouraged by what I sensed and saw coming but when Mike Huckabee gained some recognition and momentum I quickly regrouped and and felt invigorated that just maybe the people would get a chance to pick. It was not meant to be.
I have many articles sitting in my draft folder I never sent out. Maybe in time I will send them out just as a look back to see how wrong or right I was.
Some of what I had sitting in my draft folders were comments from you. I want to give you the opportunity to have your say heard as I am not the only one disillusioned at this time.
So with out further ado here is your thoughts, copied just as your sent them to me. Its a mixed bag but all agree on one thing, we have been let down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i've been very disappointed in fox news lately, especially yesterday, i have found myself drifting to cnn for my news... because cnn is largely liberal and democrat, they have no problem discussing everything on the conservative side... but its as if mccain bought out fox this experience has reminded me to put my trust in God for the truth, not in the media, even if it's Fox, now let me say this, i don't have a problem with moderation... but moderation and leuk-warmness are two different things when an issue is about right and wrong, there can't be moderation that includes stem-cell research.

I and all our family have been praying for God to work a miracle if that is his will. When I heard this morning that Romney quit I was overjoyed and praised the Lord. Keep praying for our country and that Gods will to be done. It seems to me, as a real political laymen, that Mr. Huckabee has the right message. I hope and pray that many will see that, and that this is truly what the Lord would have for this country.

PS: Did you read the Transatlantic Agreement I sent?
Yes I read it and have read it before....in the BIBLE. The one money word was prophesized a long long time ago. I am 74 and not afraid for myself but feel like weeping for all those who are younger. I'm afraid the life we have had in the past is over and will never be able to be regained. Keep your eyes on Jesus and thank him constantly for all the good things you have received and for all the blessings he will continue to give.

am quite disgusted right now. I can't believe that McCain is getting as much support that he may be the R nominee!!

This is exactly as I said to some a long time ago…Why is the press building up un-electable candidates for the R nomination…..because they are the most beatable.
The press is now going to turn on McCain…especially the New York and LA Times…which both endorsed McCain.
Shame on all conservatives that got duped by the media…..again.

Mitt folded like a cheap suit and and to add insult to injury..... ENDORSES McCain. What a freaking fool I feel I am. If Huckabee does the dance I am through. Let the GOP die and bring on Hell

am very sick and am taking a ton of meds ..... but I think as soon as I feel better I will become an Independent. Giuliani can kiss my Greek ass. I will not support a party that picks a pig like McCain as their poster child. The line is drawn in the sand. I think they are about to cross it.

I said this early in the campaign……the left wing liberal media is going to build up the “most defeatable” republican candidate.

The NY Times and LA Times have both endorsed John McCain…..and now, the NY Times is exposing the scandal between McCain and female lobbyist in 1999.

Was there sex involved? Who cares. Did she benefit from favors? We’ll see. Is this scandal expose’ being done to damage McCain’s chances?

I told you so.
Vince

I'm voting for Huckebee:
I refuse the premise of the liberal media choosing the republican candidate, like McCain.
Rich

I just today heard from two conservative Christians from Ohio who are voting for Hillary so Obama doesn’t get the nomination. This is a nightmare. Cindy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And so we will let the dust settle, regroup, lick our wounds, and see where we should go from here. Be back in a day or two with a longer assessment of where I stand and how I see things. Keep the faith and lean on one another.
Always here for you, need to vent just send more of your thoughts and if you like will forward them on for you.
CKM
ps: I want to thank all my friends who stuck together, all the hard work from everyone and lastly for those who haven't voted yet make sure you do, you can still vote Huckabee in protest and I am sure there is fine local candidates who need your support.
Let's Not Give Up Hope
Though it seems impossible for Mike Huckabee to garner enough votes to grab the nomination away from McCain just remember miracles can and do happen. But this miracle can only be made possible with your vote. Please consider Mike Huckabee and send a message to the GOP that we want our party back. Forefront in every ones decision should be the issue of morals. If you do the right thing morally all else will follow. We need a social Conservative back at the helm in Washington, we don't need a Conservative Liberal like McCain made slip out during a speech in Texas, we need a true Conservative.
Please don't let the delegate count sway you into following the leader and don't let McCain's large lead discourage you from voting. Vote Mike Huckabee and send a message the Conservative Right is not dead.
My Friends Words Speak for a Lot of Us
Friends
The email below was written by someone I know. I was told I could forward it on but he said "I do not need repercussions at my level so please do not include my name."
His words are the sentiment of a lot of people.
C
Carey,
I think the biggest problem is the State Republican Committee Chairmen. We just had a dinner here ( I wouldn't go) and the Chairman of the Warren County area pushed to have the party members into backing McCain. It seems they would push for the Devil as long as it is a Republican and not a DEM. even if this Poster Child is not what we want. The media picks this up and makes it "Gospel". No one wants to face McCain with his deeds of the present... Feingold, Immigration, Keating, etc. and especially his debacle of the POW-MIA issue of the 1992 Senate Select Committee where he went hand in hand with Kerry... the one we fought against... using that info to get our present POTUS in. Now that info is forbidden by the GOP Party Politic. The media will not report the past of McCain.
McCain has done his photo ops with "Veterans" all around him and with Tom Ridge as a Campaign Manager. Tom thinks he is Arm Candy for McCain but I see someone who I watched change as he rose in the ranks and snubbed those who originally helped him. There is even a call from PA for Ridge to be his running mate... I have to swallow the bile that just came up.
If McCain is the Poster Child in the end, XXXXX and I are going to write in "Dolores Alfond". She was personally attacked by McCain during the Senate Select Committee POW-MIA Hearings of the 90s. Her brother was missing in Vietnam ( Right now there is a problem with the remains they gave her a few years ago) She is also at the head of the National Alliance of Families who are pushing for H Res. 111 calling for a House Select Committee on POW-MIA Affairs for ALL of our wars to include the Cold War. McCain is afraid that the committee may open his files of his captivity. It is the hopes to open all files pertinent to the issue and investigations. I wonder what he wants hidden as he was adamant that a bill be squashed that would allow for that very same investigation to occur.
I hate to say it... but if Huckabee can't push McCain to the curb, the Republicans deserve their asses spanked and forced to eat 4 or more years of the DEMS in power because they couldn't come up with someone more acceptable to the party. In that case.... the child needs chastised and taught that just throwing out ANYTHING is not acceptable. Even drug addicts and alcoholics need to hit bottom before they truly want to rise above their discretion's. I am still a Republican as of Feb 11 but it just keeps getting harder to do with a party that does not listen. I am looking at the other parties... Independent, Libertarian, Constitutional...... never DEM. We all worked hard to help Bush get elected.... miles and money, now I go no where and spend very little but for our local. Even that may disappear.
I agree with you Friend, I also campaigned so much for W I felt as if I was running for President.
I just heard something very exciting. Rumor has it Judge Moore with Allen Keyes as his running mate may be heading the Constitutional Party! This could get interesting as the Evangelicals, Christians, Conservatives and disgruntled Republicans and Vets may just flock to this third party!!!
Think about this..... in '92 we had Bush Sr. running who did not live up to his Conservative billing, hence Read my lips, running against him was Clinton and a third party candidate in Ross Perot. This year we have McCain who is not a true Conservative, we may once again have a Clinton running so could we also have a strong viable third choice? This time I don't think people will let the opportunity slip away.
Governor Huckabee protests Washington results
Governor Mike Huckabee is protesting the Washinton results and he should. How can they call a race when all of the votes aren't counted? McCain was only ahead by less than 230 votes.
The GOP best get a handle on this and quick. They have already alienated a large majority of the Republican party by not only endorsing McCain but also prematurely coronating him King. Let the people decide!
Of all the elections I have witnessed and all the history books I have read this has got to be the most slanted and pre-chosen of any! Why don't they just do away with the election process and quit fooling with us? All of us knew the Dems and the Clinton propaganda machine would do anything to get Hillary in and on the Republican side its the person of their choice. The same strong arm tactics telling Obama to back off are even more at work telling Huckabee - sit down!
Well folks this race ain't over! I told you Pat Buchanan was wrong when he said Mike Huckabee has no where to go the south is done. Mike Huckabee took Louisiana by a slim margin but he still won. These talking heads are throwing this election. Even though with such a large lead its unlikely that Huckabee can over take McCain its still up to us, the foot soldiers, to keep the pressure on and to keep the election process honest, miracles can happen and have.
Other thoughts I have....
I just wonder if the results being released early by Kansas didn't work against Huckabee. McCain's crew knowing that, might have drummed up even more of his people to get out to vote. Right now I am cynical of everything.
Its amazing that dishonest Mitt is still drawing votes. People just don't get it. And what was Duncan Hunters supporters thinking? In Louisiana he drew about 300 or so votes. Don't those people know he endorsed Huckabee? When a candidate endorses someone you should vote who that person endorsed. When races are this close three hundred votes is a lot.
How do you reach the uninformed masses? If not for them there would be a lot less dishonest politicians elected.
