Don't blame Portman

Haven’t received a commentary from me in sometime.  Well here’s one.

Before you know it the next batch of elections will be here and everyone will be scrambling and yelping the sky is falling.  I hope before then the voters will get things right because they are as much or more so to blame then our politicians.  We put them in.

Take for instance Senator Portman.  You really can’t blame him for coming out in favor of same sex marriage.  The timing was right.  If a large percentage of so called Christian Conservative Right Wing Republicans voted for Mitt Romney who was known for his liberal leaning ways of accepting and furthering the homosexual agenda why wouldn’t a senator come out and say I am also in favor?  Romney blazed a trail, voters accepted it, Portman followed the path.  So can you really blame Portman?

I understand some getting confused and others being fooled after all the Christian voters guide had Mitts face on it for the presidential choice. But still this is not acceptable for the large number who voted for Mitt. People didn’t either do their homework or were so concerned of beating Obama at any cost they left their principles and beliefs out of the voting booth.

What ever the reason people on the right are now starting to get overly concerned about the rapid progression the homosexual agenda is making.  They have their targets set on overturning the laws in Ohio protecting marriage and recently the Boy Scouts because of pressure have decided to allow homosexual boys in.

 Can you really blame the Boy Scouts for folding and giving up the fight?  Absolutely not.  I am sure they saw writing on the wall.  Again I have to repeat - If the majority of Republican voters voted for Mitt who was in favor of allowing people to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation where would the Scouts backing come from?  Definitely not from Republicans because their main goal is defeating Democrats not standing for what’s right.

In conclusion don’t blame Portman, don’t blame the Boy Scouts, blame the voters.

Some jokes and humor for you.

Hey Gang,
Some jokes and humor for you. I know you missed me badly. OK that was joke number one.

Scientist are working on mixing human DNA with rats to study diseases. This isn’t the first time rats and humans mixed, that’s how we got Congress.

Hey who's keeping score? I'm trying to figure out who has more scandals brewing Cleveland sports teams or the White House?

For those who don't live around the NE Ohio area you may not know all that is happening. Browns owner being investigated, a Browns player arrested in a sting for being with a prostitute, dope being sent to an Indians pitcher, all this makes the Cleveland Gay Games of 2014 look more normal each day.

Haslam the owner of the Browns is in BIG trouble. Cleveland is use to scandals and problems with their sports teams but before a season even starts?

The US Gov could cease all Haslam’s assets if found guilty which means the Cleveland Browns could be owned by Washington. Can things get any worse for Cleveland?

The Indians are back to their losing ways and their pitcher Chris Perez got busted for having dope delivered to his house. I think this would make an excellent ad campaign for the Indians and the DEA if they combine the two. It would read something like this:
After a brief high there is always a major let down – Cleveland Indians Baseball and remember don't do drugs.

Indians pitcher Chris Perez like the rest of the team is in a slump. When asked about his delivery he said no problem my dope arrived on time.

Even the Cavaliers got in on the act recently. Danny Green of the Spurs who was the star of the last victory once played with the Cavs. But lets not forget so did LeBron of Miami who lost big come from Cleveland, so the Cavs still had a losing horse in the race.

Washington has gathered all our phone records, online records, just say all and any kind of record they can track Americans with. But they don't care about the million or so illegals because after all they aren't suppose to be here so why track them.

And that's a wrap.

we eat our own - written on dece 19, 2012

I finally gathered some of the comments I received during the last election, these are only some, should of started saving them sooner. These words are from people I know, people I've had personal dealings with, and people who are actively involved in local politics. Their comments are an embarrassment but not so much to myself personally but to the Republican Party, the Tea Party, and to Christian Conservatives. Sure I am angry and disillusioned but the real harm is being done to our cause and our nation. How do you expect to change things for the better when we are fighting amongst ourselves? This past election has divided the Right almost to the point of beyond repair.
Before I go further read a few of these comments. Again this is just a sampling of some of the comments I received and that were posted on various blogs. Please do not read this as poor Carey it is not intended for that purpose whatsoever.

You have gone off the deep end and your emails make no sense, they have become an annoyance.

You desperately need help.

You are VERY confused.

I look for you to start your own cult.

Carey, you're a scum. Please get the hell out of this group.

We wonder how you could twist facts so dramatically to make your points. Wondering if you sleep well??

May the Lord have mercy on you, we don’t think you are this confused intentionally.

I feel sad for you, you are consumed/obsessed with hatred for Romney/Ryan. What a waste of time, to exude all that hatred and all that time to dig up dirt on the lesser of the evils!

Congratulations on your (Obama) candidate winning.
I'm so done with you I have no other choice. You vote for Obama I think your a democrat anyways
You're a real bigot.

I understand my writing style invokes passion for or against but how is this productive? I also understand my writing goes from serious, attack, to far fetched humor but it always ties in with facts, never for the sake of just bashing. To receive such nonsense after the hours of research I put into articles is a real shame. I expect this kind of trash from Democrats or liberals that have no argument.

On top of the name calling this past election I lost many contacts and friendships just for trying to get out facts. Even when I was 100% correct in my assessments and predictions and when I included links of candidates themselves speaking people still simply denied it and in the end I was the boogeyman. Most voters run on pure emotions or take as the gospel truth what the mainstream media says but someone who takes an opposing stance or a stance that makes them feel uncomfortable they can't be correct, just can't be. It has been a battle educating people.

Furthermore I have challenged people continuously and asked if I ever wrote or stood for anything other than what the Republican Party platform is for please point it out. I received nothing in reply other than please take me off your list, requests to stop posting on blogs and removal of posts. And when I was attacked only one person to my knowledge came to my defense or the defense of what I stand for. If I am feeling this much resistance and ill feedback it would be hard to campaign for or promote any of the causes the so called Tea Party and or Republican Party is fighting for, there would be no unity.  So I have many doubts right now as to my position within the Republican Party.

This harsh unintelligent criticism is causing division and only weakens and alienates passionate conservatives fighting for the truth and America. I know I am not alone. There are others who have felt this sting trying to go against the status and stand for what is just. Think about it, are we on the same team and fighting the same fight or are we? Until that question is answered there are plenty of us right now on a political sojourn searching for a home.

Carey's upcoming decision and the Republican Party

Friends,
I suppose some of you had to question why no emails from me with all that has happened recently. Well let me tell you it's hard not to weigh in. It has been a writer and news reporter dream with all that has transpired.

I laid low because I wanted to spend time on writing a book that I've started and I've been doing a lot of reflecting. The reflecting is in regards to my political involvement and party affiliation.

What triggered the reflecting? As I combed through the countless emails and articles for the book I am writing I reread some of the comments and emails sent to me, it refreshed my memory. Some were down right cruel and others just baseless. Is this what the Republican/Tea Party movement turned into?

I've said this before that this has gotten to be no longer running on principles or platform but electing Republicans at any cost which I no longer adhere to this thinking. I want more than just seeing Republicans win.

Furthermore about a month back I wrote an article titled Platform or Party asking for YOUR opinion but very few responded. Those who did reply, besides one, aren't even with the Republican Party or have resigned. It was this lack of feedback that has pushed me to into making an important personal/political decision which will be revealed very shortly. Won't say what but it will change my course and possibly close doors on current friendship and open doors to new ones.

The bottom line is this - I no longer feel part of team GOP. This should wake up Republicans to the fact that I am not alone with these feelings. The way I see it is the party is disjointed with in fighting and no direction. The Republicans were so enamored with winning elections and the voters were so completely zeroed in on beating Obama at any cost that in doing so neither group came out ahead and also compromised their beliefs and morals while alienating true patriots and Conservatives. And I am one of those.

Part 2
Senator Rob Potman of Ohio has revealed he smoked pot. He believes in same sex marriage and is also starting to believe in global warming because he's in a lot of hot water with Conservative voters.

Years ago I wrote this.
Subliminal warfare contacts your mind.
Unknowingly surrounds you and makes you blind

An example of what I mean. The below paragraph was written by the Ohio Republican Chairman Bob Bennet when Portman came out in favor of same sex marriage. This statement showcases the mind games played on voters and the refusal to stand up for the party platform.
Senator Portman's Announcement to Stand With Family
Ohio has the best Senator in the United States, Rob Portman. He is a great leader for our state and will continue to be a strong leader for our Party. He and his wife Jane are also m y friends. I am proud of them for standing together with their family - it is exactly the kind of character I would expect from him.
First of all this reminds me of a few elections back when the hot ticket to success was riding the wave of the Tea Party movement. Quite a few RINO/establishment candidates had on their campaign lit a tea cup with the wording Tea Party Values making one think the candidate is with the Tea Party.
Bennet making the statement STAND WITH FAMILY tricks the mind into thinking of family values which is supposedly one of the stances of the GOP.

Furthermore how committed is Portman to not only his constituents but also his beliefs? If his son came out and said Dad I use drugs. Would Portman then be in favor of legalizing drugs? If his son said Dad I want to marry 2 wife’s. Would Portman be in favor of polygamy?
When ever I strayed from my moral upbringing my parents never once accepted my behavior. They stood firm until I came around. Like wise Portman's son needs help not daddy saying he accepts his sons homosexuality. You can't have a family with same sex couples - period.
Nice spin by Bennet.

IF Republicans would of acted like Republicans would we be in this mess? I don't think so. Obama is just piling on and on what the Republicans could of stopped but didn't. Then again we wouldn't of had Obama if the Republicans would of given us a real choice.

urban farms and euclid

Friends,
Euclid has gone to the birds or has it?
I received news about Euclid wanting to allow Urban Farms.  Is this a part of Agenda 21 or is it a good idea?  I know one thing - any law that allows more flexibility for the home owner and a ease of zoning laws seems to me a good idea.

Read what was sent to me then read my comments below.
Subject: Fw: Urban Farming Initiative in Euclid

This came to us very recently. Please read it send a messhge to council to oppose it and forward it to other citizens.
Joe

Below is an email concerning Council's desire to implement urban (chicken) farming in the City of Euclid. I urge everyone to read it. If you agree that this is a good idea you don't have to do anything. Council has enough votes to pass it. If, on the other hand, you disagree with the idea of raising chickens in this city then I urge you to write your Council person (or the entire council). Their email addresses appear below. If you strongly disagree with chicken farming I urge you to attend the next Council meeting and express your opinion. Only if enough residents voice their objections will Council vote down this legislation.
Thank you for your time.

From: "Jeffrey
Council,

I am writing to you to further express my opinion on urban farming in Euclid. I am totally against this idea - even as a test. This is being presented as a "progressive" piece of legislation. It is not. It is regressive. It's simply trying to turn the clock back to when Euclid was a farming community 100 + years ago. It is being presented as having a "sunset" of 1 year. If the history of Euclid legislation shows us anything it shows us that there is no such thing as a "sunset".  Garbage and lighting fees were only to be for 2 years (until they were made permanent). Shore's 5 year plan to be self sufficient will not happen and it is clear that this will be extended. Enacting this piece of legislation will make it a permanent program in Euclid. To be specific as to why I (and the many Euclid residents I have spoken with) are against this idea I offer the following…

1) Post farming Euclid's history was industrial. The many factories located here that supported the effort in World War 2 emitted who knows what into the atmosphere. These emissions settled in the soil throughout the city. Lead paint was used extensively in buildings and currently we have a freeway that bisects our city utilized by thousands of cars daily emitting exhaust fumes. These also settle in our soil. A study published by the Atlantic Monthly in October 2012 tested eggs laid by urban chickens in New York. They found high amounts of lead in the eggs. To be exact 115 PPB (parts per billion). At 15PPB the Center for Disease Control advises people to treat their tap water. This is an extremely high amount of lead that has been attributed to the factors I mention above. A woman in Portland ME. did a test on her eggs and found the same result. Eggs purchased at the store were lead free.

2) A Stanford study mentioned in this same report suggested little health differences between organic and conventional food.

3) Noise. Chickens can be very noisy. The fact that they were quiet on the day that Council visited a couple of coops doesn't change this fact. Yes, it was mentioned last night that dogs are also noisy. The difference is you can take a dog inside and shut it up whereas you cannot a chicken.

4) Predators. Chickens are fair game for coyotes, skunks, raccoons, rats, dogs, and other animals. It was mentioned last night that "predator proof" enclosures can be built. This may stop the predators from attacking the chickens but will not keep them from trying. These predators could endanger small pets and children if they come across them in a neighbors' yard..

5) Disease. There are many disease that are transferred between chickens and humans. These are only exasperated in tight living areas as we have in Euclid. One I mentioned last night was Histoplasmosis. It is not a rare disease. It is a respiratory ailment that is caused by inhalation of chicken feces. A dry, windy day could pick up these feces along with dirt and spray it around a neighborhood. Since this is preventable by not allowing chickens into this city will the city be responsible for any medical bills caused by an infection? How about medical bills and suffering caused by injuries sustained by children/ pets attacked by a predator stalking chickens?

6) Cost. There is a labor cost involved in maintaining this program and the city is now running at a minimum. Nuisance calls on chickens will go to the police dept. They in turn will contact animal control who will have to investigate. Or the calls will go straight to animal control. In either case I don't believe they need this additional burden. Housing inspectors will also have to investigate and aren't we short now? How would they add this additional duty when they have their hands full now?

Council needs to spend their time on issues that positively affect the quality of life in this city - not negatively. And urban farming only offers a positive experience for the few people who employ it and a negative experience for the vast majority of the city.

I am planning to send this email out wide with a request to email their Council person to express their opinions or to attend the next Council meeting and voice their opinions on this issue.

Council needs to kill this legislation.

Jeffrey
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IF I may add my thoughts and if valid please pass them on.
Some things to ponder.  Dad told me growing up in the inner city and then Collinwood years ago some had small chicken coops.  Not a problem as those yards were as small as some in Euclid.
Another point to ponder.  NO one can say for certain if we are heading for fiscal doom.  All indicators point to it.  The Euro zone keeps showing signs of going belly up.  IF we do have another major depression this would at least give residents some options of feeding their family or bartering away the eggs for other necessities.   This is not solely based on fear but on history.
Lastly isn't it time we give the people some freedom to be the KING of their castle?  IF any house is seriously neglected or abandoned looking or deemed a nuisance property measures can be taken so I am sure these rules would apply with the chicken farms.
In short I like it and think it would make the city of Euclid more attractive for the younger generations who are bred on this go green movement to possibly move into the city.
Thank you for your time
Silly America
Some old some new and before you ask YES I wrote these. And remember it is political humor. So after laughing or getting mad at me which ever comes first think of the point behind them. That is if there is one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Because of the sequester the airshow is canceled. Cleveland may not be seeing planes and jets fly over the city but just wait fairies will be seen flying over as the Gay Games are still scheduled.

Did you notice every interview the major networks did about same sex marriage they had a homosexual giving his opinion? Not one minister or straight person was asked his beliefs. Isn't this like asking Jerry Sandusky advice on baby sitting male children?

Sen. Portman is for same sex marriage and Gov. Kasich is for civil unions. Pretty soon when people say they saw a pink elephant you will no longer think they've been drinking, you'll think they saw the GOP elephant

The recent cold weather has been blamed on global warming. I guess using that logic the global starvation problem can be blamed on the obesity epidemic.

One million school children in the US are now homeless. The biggest challenge facing these students is - where do they do homework?

Obama wants to raise the minimum wage to $9.00 and also allow illegals to stay. His logic - With minimum wage that high who could afford to pay it so we need illegals to do cheap labor.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may seems nuts but he has a solid economic plan. Kim isn't worried at all if America blows up Korea. He knows if America does they will either rebuild Korea or buy cars and trucks from them.

From the Yellow Springs News this is a real gem.
Historic Barr house built in 1844 to be razed in controlled burn. Locals are upset that it isn't being saved.

These two sentences are taken exactly as they are written from the article, one on top of the other:

The house is to rotted to be renovated, he said and the presence of large of amounts of lead paint rendered renovation prohibitively costly. According to Chief Altman all dangerous materials, such as lead paint and asbestos, will have been removed by the date of the burn......

OKKKKKK so removing lead paint is to costly to save a historic house built in 1844 but removing lead paint for a burn isn't? Help me understand this.

Silly America – May God help us!

Platform or Candidate

It's all about get out the vote. Its sad but true its all about vote getting. It doesn't matter what ideology or past voting record the candidate may have its all about getting people to go out and vote. It doesn't matter how its done, fear, manipulation, lies as long as you get people to vote for your man or cause. Get out the vote. Its like fast food. Its no longer about selling a good product its about sales and selling the brand name. Both major parties do it.

That’s why I don't fill out political questionnaires anymore. I use to feel so much part of the process telling the two parties my opinion. I felt that I was making a difference. I wasn't. The questionnaires the political parties and the affiliate groups send out are to gather information. They in turn use these questionnaires to shape their platform which for the most part they don't intend on following. It has nothing to do with choosing candidates or molding the party. It has to do with talking points of what you want to hear and what ads to run to get their man elected.

Here is a smoking gun statement by a fellow Republican.

* "What we need to be able to do is get people excited about the cause, about what the Republican Party stands for so that they want to be involved regardless of who our nominee is," said Steve Duprey, an RNC committeeman from New Hampshire.

Mr. Duprey it appears you slept through the 2012 presidential election. The GOP tried this scenario with Mitt and in 2008 with McCain. Republicans did all they could to rally their base by running on platform regardless of the candidate and they lost. Do you think its time that maybe we find a candidate that matches the party platform? I do and so do many others who stayed home or voted third party this past election.

A GOP chairman hi-lighted this very fact when he brought up to me that the party platform hasn't changed in other words I still should be supporting it. In response I told him you fail to recognize along with many others that there are those of us who firmly believe in the platform. But what good does it do to go out campaign, promote, argue and at times alienate people from you for defending the platform only for our elected Republican officials to mock it or not defend it?

In years past I was very much indeed a platform voter and eagerly defended it. My good friend Rich tried telling me back in 2008 he has had enough of the two party system, all this back and forth saws down the tree, its getting America deeper and deeper in trouble. I in turn told him the Republican platform is Godly and Consititutional. Voting for it you are doing what is right and if the Republicans who do get elected don't follow the platform its on them not you, at least you did what was right. I have since changed my views and couldn't agree more with Rich. A parties platform is only as good as the elected officials we vote in.

As a precinct committeeman unless I am totally mistaken I have done exactly what I am suppose to do which is defend the platform, promote the party, and help elect Republicans. In that order. But I cannot defend the platform all the while promoting liberal candidates such as Mitt or currently Portman. So anyone who has distanced themselves from me and others like myself all the while screaming we have to stop regionalism, stop same sex marriage, stop taxes but them go out and campaign for people like Mitt while ignoring, again, people such as myself are in it strictly for the Republican party, politics, a career or blind uninformed sheep.

Isn't it time our elected Republican officials support their own party platform? And if we are voting for them shouldn't we expect them to do it? Or are we strictly voting for Republican candidates at any cost and it doesn't matter where they stand or how they legislate?

Easter message 2013

Today with the constant attack on Christians and Christian beliefs worldwide we are worried Christianity is being phased out. Why?  This is nothing new.  Lets look back at the crucifixion to understand today's anti-Christianity movement.

When Jesus was crucified was it because he was evil? Was it because he was a thief, murderer? Nope, it was for none of those reasons. In fact Jesus was blameless without fault. So why did they crucify him? They crucified Jesus because he had the truth and was the truth. The truth bothered people same as it does today.

The Jews and the overly religious thought lets get rid of the guy; we have it so good he’s disrupting our lives. If the people find out Jesus is the way and the truth they will follow him and we will lose our standing. So they crucified him thinking they could get rid of the truth and just continue on with their lives.

Life was good, they got rid of their problem until suddenly - Jesus returned from the grave. Truth won out. Soon followers of Christ started proclaiming the news. Something had to be done to stop this. So the followers of Christ were pursued and beaten some to their death to rid the land of the truth. But it had a reverse affect it didn't stop the truth.  The truth spread and spread and spread.

This same scenario is repeated throughout history as it is today; evil rulers, false religions, worldly sinners one after the other have tried extinguishing the truth all for their own gain, pleasure or to quiet their conscience.  No matter how hard they try to ban the truth it survives and flourishes and the gospel continues to be proclaimed. They just don't understand that when Jesus defeated death truth was released, you cannot kill the truth.

So don't worry about what laws are passed or how hard it is on Christians and Christianity just worry about if you know the truth and if you do you will survive, if not in this age for eternity.

That's the Easter message, knowing the Truth.

Excellent response to Joe Biden's "Buy a shotgun" and gun eduaction

Friends this is being sent a bit late as I was waiting for a response.  Please read it, its good info.

I asked a good friend who wanted to remain anonymous to give me an education regarding this clip.  Was it true.
Click here: HILARIOUS: Women take Joe Biden’s shotgun advice » The Right Scoop -

He writes an AR15 is basically a 22 but shoots the bullet at a much greater speed.
He also includes.... This is a pretty good article, a little technical. When you get to the comments you will see someone talking about the size difference of the cartridge (combustion chamber). The bullet being the projectile itself, and the cartridge is where the primer and powder to propel the bullet is.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/05/03/guest-post-22-lr-vs-223-rem/

I don't know if it discusses speed, but the faster ammunition usually penetrate deeper, that is why the larger .45 ACP (sub sonic or less than 1000 feet per second) did not penetrate the pipe and the 9mm (super sonic)did.

Also, ammunition is rated by kinetic energy, the amount of energy expelled into the target at impact. The 9mm and .38 special are the same size as the .357SIG and .357 magnum, but the cartridge is larger on both of these rounds. They move faster and dump more energy into the target

Bottom line .22 and .223 are easier to shoot than a 12 gauge shotgun, but at close range the shotgun is devastating without peer. I think there are 9 .32 caliber BB in a 12 gauge 00 buckshot round. Think if getting hit at 10-15 feet with that, you are gonna get something vital and even Keannu Reeves in the Matrix couldn't dodge it.

I have to go clean my guns now.

Thank you for the education.  The rest of what Joe Biden says is beyond ridiculous.  Go outside and shoot your gun?  Gee now you are outside, just emptied your gun, how will you defend yourself?

car talk n more

Car Talk
I went to the Cleveland Auto show and once again was disappointed by the American showing. Fewer and fewer models while the foreign cars are having bigger displays and more options of cars. Ford did have the best and seemed to offer the most of the domestic autos.
America now has one minivan, the Dodge. That's it. What is the small business suppose to do, a full size van is to large for a lot of companies. So we may be forced to buy a foreign vehicle.
Interesting tidbit. The Volkswagen van the Routan is actually the Dodge Caravan with WW badges and trim.
I was also saddened to see an iconic image of pop culture America, Superman, applied to a model of Kia. The special edition Kia was all laid out with decals and was drawing a large crowd of young people around it.
What is Cadillac thinking? Thay are clueless with their design. Cadillac now has a sportwagon? What a joke. They have totally ruined their image.
Buick is another company to me that has lost their way and doesn't have much to offer.
As I was sitting waiting for someone a gentleman came up and sat next to me. We struck up a conversation about the auto show. He said the best American cars were coming from Ford even though he hates to admit this because he works at the Chevy plant but his personal favorite is Toyota. Confusing to say the least.
I wrote this before I went to the auto show.
America gets the cutesy Ford Transport from its European division which was delayed a few years while they cleaned up the emissions to meet US air standards. But what did the Japanese send here? The HUGE Nissan NV.
America is shrinking the size of its cars and the amount of different vehicles while the foreign cars are growing larger and quickly filling the gaps left behind of niche vehicles America no longer produces. I first saw the NV in the Philippines and said if this ever comes to the US lookout. It will hasten the demise of the American auto manufacturer.
Onto other topics
I was watching CCTV the Chinese network and two Chinese analysts were going back and forth about China's economy. One analyst was saying China shouldn't worry America needs its cheap labor and will continue to buy from China. The other analyst kept insisting China should worry as America is re-industrializing. Finally the moderator stepped in and said we will have to leave it there.
Go Home
An Israeli was asked his thoughts about Obamas visit to Israel. He said If he thinks he is going to come here and dictate to us security and make peace with the Palestinians – STAY HOME.
Raise here and there and everywhere Check your land line bill if you still have one. Mine was raised $1.25 per month. My auto insurance jumped $75 for bare bones coverage and I have excellent credit and driving record. It may not seem like a lot but that is another 8 bucks per month gone and couple that with all the other nickle and dime increases it amounts to substantial increase in expenditures per month that you can't do without. I will some how argue and fight the insurance increase.

That's all,

dronDrones, one more look at Cruz, RINO Portman and more

Amazing.
Obama is considering arming the Syrian rebels while he wants to disarm us. How many countries have we armed that turned on us?

Korean War part II? American troops are on stand by as North Korea makes threats.

Confusion as in the time of Babel
In the story of the tower of Babel the people were unified in building a tower to the heavens. The people were placing themselves above God thinking they could do anything. God confused their language and the people gave up and scattered. Are we in that same frame of mind today with man thinking we can do anything? Look at the computer of what it can accomplish. Then look around you at all the confusion and friction amongst each other and within the different countries and nations of the world. In spite of all this increase in knowledge everyone is running around trying to figure out what to do while things get worse. No one is in agreement and many are just plain confused.

Drones
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution

This oath has little merit with the capabilities of the drone. Look out! Or should I say LOOK UP!

Governor Perry at CPAC take a bow, someone speaks the truth
"The popular media narrative is that this country has shifted away from conservative ideas, as evidence by the last two presidential elections. That’s what they think, that’s what they say, that might be true if Republicans had actually nominated conservative candidates in 2008 and 2012."

AMEN Perry!!!

One more look at what Sen. Ted Cruz said:
"You want to know what happened last election cycle? We didn't win the argument for the American people. The Democrats' story is the Republicans are the party of the rich, the Democrats are the party of everybody else. And if that's the narrative people believe, we'll never win another national election."

Now read what I wrote on March 5th 2012 almost a year before Cruz made that statement:

The thing that is troubling to me is this.... It took YEARS to change the image of the Republican Party from one of being strictly a rich white mans party. Little by little it was being chipped away and then Reagan became president. It was because of him the Conservative Right was born or at least had a major revival. If Mitt grabs the nomination he will undo all the changes that have been made to the GOP and once again it will be known as the party of rich white men and the Conservative Right well.... we will be homeless.

If you care to read the whole article I wrote just let me know and I can zip it out to you.

Portman true colors come out
Senator Rob Portman came out in favor of same sex marriage citing the reason for his change of position is his son is a homosexual. RINO Rob changes his moral convictions, his political beliefs because of his sons behavior? Houston we have a problem. It is one thing to stand by your son or daughter but it is another thing to condone or accept immoral and unnatural behavior. If Portman was any man of conviction he would stand by his conservative principles and tell the public this is a family matter, I don't condone my sons behavior and it will not affect my thinking. RINO ROB NEEDS TO BE VOTED OUT!!!!

             Voted YES on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage. (Sep 2004)
             Voted YES on banning gay adoptions in DC. (Jul 1999)
             Supports Amendment to prevent same sex marriage. (Aug 2010)

And now his son is queer and he changes his position.

I just can't help myself, I just have to include this... one more comparison between Mitt and the Oh-bama.

They looked at each other and they decided, 'We know that, in the world as it has been, it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child, but something is stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across the bridge. And so they got together, and Barack Obama Jr. was born.
"So don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma, Alabama," Obama said.

What Obama was talking about here was because of the march across the bridge in Selma, Alabama his parents, a black father and white mother were allowed to get together and conceive a child. Only problem with that statement is Obama was born in '61 and the march happened in '65.

And then there was this march
"My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit." Mitt Romney in a 1978 interview.
The problem is this... Mitt nor his father marched with MLK.
Two reasons I brought this up. I was just made aware of the absurd statement by Obama and it goes along with another reason the GOP lost. Obama and Mitt were eerily similar. Voters had no choice between the two main party's. Lets put this to rest.

They're still trying to figure it out.

MONTHS have passed since the 2012 election and people are still trying to explain why Republicans lost. In fact top Republican leaders are meeting to - DUH - figure out why they lost. Do they really need to figure this out?
What did U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz say about this while at the Cuyahoga Lincoln Day Dinner...
"You want to know what happened last election cycle? We didn't win the argument for the American people. The Democrats' story is the Republicans are the party of the rich, the Democrats are the party of everybody else. And if that's the narrative people believe, we'll never win another national election."
Is Cruz for real? If he is he won't get to far with that analysis. The GOP for years had the label the party of the rich. Reagan changed it by bringing on board Reagan Democrats and the Christian Conservative Right. What changed it back to the party of the rich? Romney. Republicans have been labeled the rich man's party once again because voters look at the nominee or president elect of where the party is headed whether this is right or wrong. If Cruz thinks we could of won the argument with Mitt as our nominee he just doesn't get it. Mitt was the stock market big government establishment picked nominee. While people are looking for work and trying to get by Romney's business past hi-lighted mergers, shut downs, buy outs, and speculation. To the average person he was partly to blame for hardships we are experiencing. Mitt never ran a store or ran a typical business - period.
Locally here in NE Ohio what is the thinking on why the Republicans lost? A couple of Tea Party's are in agreement with another reason why the GOP failed. They believe the reason the Republican's lost the presidential election was due to the fact that they are not attracting the conservative Hispanic and Afro-American voting bloc.
I believe Republicans do not need to attract Afro-Americans or Hispanics or minorities. Going after smaller groups such as minorities, unions, homosexuals to name just a few is the Democratic Party's philosophy. The Democrats need to woo these smaller groups because their message as a whole is anti-American and anti-Constitution. These individual groups that make up the Democratic voting bloc do not care as long as they get what they want.
The GOP's base on the other hand is much wider. Their base is the Christian/Conservative right which encompasses ALL nationalities, ALL races and ALL people of faith. If the Republicans would stay true to their platform it would also spread out to voters who are very conscience of the Constitution and people of wealth because of its limited government stance.
This may be an extreme example and maybe I am wrong for writing it but Lincoln did not go after the African or slave vote they followed him because he did what was right. With Reagan he had a strong message and even though he was a Conservative even Democrats came out to vote for him. The Republicans simply lost because they drifted from their platform and alienated their base.
Furthermore Republicans were beyond hypocritical in their pushing of Romney. The GOP blasted Obama for mandated healthcare, same sex marriage, fees, gun control but where did some of this start? In Massachusetts while Romney was governor. What made them abandon their principles in favor of Romney? They drooled all over themselves when they saw Mitt's wallet and his fund raising capabilities. What did Republicans do with all this money? They used it to convince you that Mitt was a Conservative and the only one who could beat Obama. They could of saved all that money and gathered around Ron Paul who already had ground troops or Santorum who had a strong message. Instead they gave us Obama.
In conclusion IF Republicans expect to win again they need to quit pushing RINOS and act like Republicans if not get out of the way and let a third party in. We do not need two Democratic Party’s, which is what's happening now.

jesse jackson jr

My good friend Harry sent me this response a few weeks ago in answer to something I sent him.  His words are so appropriate for today with what is going on with Jackson Jr..

My dear friend, federal territory of Columbia was set on fire
by JULIUS CAESAR, Emperor of Rome, what you see is the very same
lavish "positive-bytes" spoken, to distract you from
looking at their misbehavior, financial lavish spending, for benefits,
while they fill their pockets WITH YOUR MONEY. Just like
in Rome, while Rome was burning.
They sack the burning homes.

Obama and the Transatlantic Agreement

Friends,
I only watched bits and pieces of the State of the Union Address.  Quite frankly I just can't stomach watching these staged and overly prepped events any longer.  So I turned it on and off and saw just enough to make me upset, angry and worried.

I will only touch base on one thing in this email, Obama mentioning the Transatlantic Agreement.  This was first initiated way back in 1995 under the Clinton's reign.

And I don't have to go to far with my research other than my sent folder of what I sent out back in 2008.
Lets hope we can derail this.  Think NAFTA times 10.

Nothing ever goes away, when a politician proposes something that is harmful or damaging to this nation it may lay dormant for awhile but it will reappear maybe repackaged or just enough of a twist to it for the people to be fooled into thinking this has been proposed before maybe it is a good thing.  Stay vigilant.

 Please do not discard this as bunk.  Since the early 90's I have seen the systematic destruction of America's sovereignty.  Recently it has been happening at such an accelerated rate whereas in a few years America might not be what we now know it.  Both parties currently running for president fail to address these grave issues other than Ron Paul.  Both parties reek with globalism.  We have sold our soul!

 Please click on the link and read about the Transatlantic Agreement.  If you don't have time then please at least look at the few paragraphs I grabbed from the article.  I highlighted certain lines in red because they are of vital importance. It will help you understand the fall of the dollar, it has to happen so we can join in the global UNION.

Writing in the same issue of the Streit Council publication, Bennett also confirmed that what has become known as the "Merkel initiative" would allow the Transatlantic Economic Council to integrate and harmonize administrative rules and regulations between the U.S. and the EU"in a very quiet way," without introducing a new free trade agreement to Congress.
 (Did you understand that?  Without Congress, our governments approval!!!)

The Streit Council is named after Clarence K. Streit, whose 1939 book "Union Now" called for the creation of a Transatlantic Union as a step toward world government
(is this the Biblical one world government we have been warned about?)
One example is Bennett's claim in his Streit Council article that creating a Transatlantic Common Market would combine markets that comprise 60 percent of world Gross Domestic Product under a common regulatory standard that would become "the de facto world standard, regardless of what any other parties say."
(in other words America has NO say)
  The Transatlantic Economic Council is an official international governmental body established by executive fiat in the U.S. and the EU without congressional approval or oversight. No new law or treaty was sought by the Bush administration to approve or implement the plan to create a Transatlantic Common Market.
(Once again, in other words World Leaders can do as they like regardless of what we in America think!)
The work to create a Transatlantic Common Market can be traced back to the Clinton administration's decision to join in the 1995 New Transatlantic Agenda with the European Commission.

A gun lesson for you.

A gun lesson for you.

***The Soviet army crossed the frontier to join us (Poles) in the struggle against the Germans....... We cannot wait for orders from the Polish High Command..... We must unite with the Soviet Forces. Commander Plaskow demands that we join his detachment immediately, after surrendering our arms. They will be returned to us later......I inform all officers within hearing of these facts and order all non-commissioned officers and soldiers to comply with the request of Commander Plaskow. Death to Germany! Long live Poland and the Soviet Union!

And so the Polish soldiers and officers complied and gave up their weapons. Immediately upon doing so instead of joining forces with the Soviets and being reissued their guns the Polish army was duped and made prisoners of the Russians without any resistance and suffered just as bad as those taken by the Nazi's.

This took place during WWII. Hitler made a surprise invasion from the west into Poland. The Soviet army was invading from the east but the Poles thought the Russians had come to join forces with them against Hitler. Russia took over eastern Poland according to this account without a single shot being fired.
Don't we ever learn from history?

Keep those guns, do not lay them down!!! Your life and nation are at risk.

a few chuckles and one quote

I heard that America is actually 88 TRILLION in debt, 88 TRILLION! Now it makes sense why they want to mint a trillion dollar coin. It will be used in vending machines.

Fiat and Chrysler may make the fabled Jeep in China. With the expected move a name change will also take place. Jeep will soon be called Cheep.

China wants to make their own Mt. Rushmore honoring 5 Americans. Nixon for being the first president to go behind the Red Curtain, Bush Sr. who was the ambassador to China under Nixon, Carter who signed the first trade agreement with China, Clinton for giving China most favored nation trading status and Walmart.

Its early but I nominate this as the quote of the year:

To me its not about the money, its about finishing what I tried to start when I first got elected in 1980. Cleveland Councilman Ken Johnson.

The story is this..... Ken Johnson briefly resigned as councilman so he could qualify for retirement then was quickly reappointed by his cronies. Is it any wonder why Cleveland and America as a whole is in trouble? Besides that read the words of Ken once more. What he tried to start in 1980! So Ken is still trying to finish what he tried to start 32 years later? You can't finish what you never started.

Maybe with all this double-dip going on they should open a ice cream parlor inside of city hall, they already have all the nuts they need to sprinkle on top.

Added note: Johnson makes $74,000 per year as councilman plus his retirement.

some sports humor for you

Not many heard about this but NY City had trouble with the ball drop so the Times Square Committee next year will hire the Cleveland Browns who've never had problems dropping the ball.

Browns fans should be a little worried about their new coach Chudzinski. Immediately after signing Chudzinski said he felt his days with Cleveland were numbered so he will accept early retirement.

They asked Chudzinski what position will he fill first? He replied a good shrink.

I did find one statistic the Browns led in. The Browns actually had a higher winning percentage then Congresses approval rating.

Many Clevelander's are joining a class action law suit against the NFL for wanting to go to an 18 game season. The reason sited is cruel and unusual punishment, 16 games is bad enough.

Here's a tough question for you. What's shorter a Browns win streak or Hillary's memory?

RG3 was struck with bad luck and was heard crying after his injury, this can't be, I play for the Redskins not the Browns.

Biden is very serious about gun control. He said he will go after anyone who uses a firearm even the 33 teams in the NFL who use the shotgun.

Sandy Hook, Kasich, and a Happy Deviant New Year

I took a short break around the holidays but do not think I pirated these subjects off the net because I am late in posting this. My close friends can attest to these as things I have either said to them in conversations or in short emails I sent out in early to mid December.

Guns or No Guns
Sometimes names can be prophetic. Such as in Sandy Hook. We had a hurricane blow through named Sandy before the school shooting and our government was looking for that hook to come after our Constitutional right of bearing arms.

Both sides, Dems and Repubs are so off with their assessment what to do about these mass shootings. Everyone is talking about the symptoms but no one is addressing the cause. This is usually what happens with any issue or problem, the band-aid approach is used, cover it up and hope it heals.

The Left believe in getting rid of guns. What will this solve? Nothing other than leaving law abiding citizens more vulnerable and America as a whole in a weakened state to defend itself from outside invaders if there is an attack.

The Right want to arm teachers, janitors, everyone and have armed guards at entrances. I have been to a third world country do we want to become like them with every mall and building having checkpoints with armed guards?

I am all for individual freedom of whom ever wants to carry a gun let them do so. But to arm teachers? I don't think so. Some people do not want to carry a gun or are not responsible enough to handle a situation like what happened in Sandy Hook.

The real culprit for this breakdown in our society are rulings that occurred in the early 70's. Until we protect life, reclassify certain behavior as mental illness and revamp our judicial system and prisons this will continue. And if I may let me throw one more in there, drugs. Drug laws should be stiffened 10 times more then what they are now. These are the causes they need to be addressed not the symptoms.

2016
My crystal ball right now is cloudy for whom I see running in 2016 but the GOP could be left wandering for years as they had their chance and squandered it by putting all their money and hopes on Mitt.

I just can't see the GOP pushing another Bush (Jeb) on us and if they learned anything they won't woo Chris Christy either who is another east coast liberal. Santorum won't make another run, would be very surprised if he did.

But I believe one man to keep an eye on is Governor Kasich of Ohio. If Kasich makes a move he would garner a lot of support. He is establishment enough but also he could get Tea Party and Christian Right support because of the remarkable job he is doing as governor.

On the Democratic side is Hillary. I told someone before Hillary's recent bout of who knows what that the only thing that could stop her is father time, is she up to it physically? She is a Clinton so she could be faking. Four years is enough time for her to rebound and for the public to forget her mystery illness. People are still enamored with the Clinton's thinking Slick was responsible for the prosperous '90's. Yeah right!

If Hillary's illness is legit and she has to retire for good well then the GOP got a late Christmas present as they will have an excellent chance in 2016.

Kasich's Folly
Even though I said to keep and eye on Gov. John Kasich his decision to grant clemency to murderer Ronald Post can have a damaging effect to his campaign if he does decide to run. There are already some rumblings going on that they would not support Kasich because of this. Remember Kasich would represent the Republican Party and most true Republicans support the death penalty for heinous crimes such as murder and even violent rape. It was a bad move on the Governors part.

Third Party Candidates may see an increase in interest and garner more support. Organizations like "Free & Equal" who hosted two excellent debates are helping spread the word of the legitimacy of these candidates. Could 2016 be the year where finally a third party candidate breaks through the hold the two parties have on America?

Former Republican Governor turned Libertarian Gary Johnson did an excellent job at the "Free & Equal" debate. I supported Johnson last fall because I believe he had the best chance of over turning Obama Care and restoring this nation fiscally. Johnson was the best protest vote out there but he has a long way to go to win my support completely as he is to soft on or against issues that matter most to me. Drugs, abortion and the furthering of the gay agenda, which it is an agenda. Will he make another run? My hunches say – yes. So Johnson supporters get ready.

Up Up and Away

Whats in your wallet? Well just hand it over for your favorite fast food burger. Minimum wages in many states saw an increase with Washington state being the highest at $9.19 per hour, yes $9.19 per hour. And then you wonder why employment for young people is way down. What small business or any business for that matter can afford to pay entry level positions that much? The only winner is our government. The higher the wages go, the more income tax they bring in.

New Year 2013
What the heck did I witness?
Was my family thee only one who was appalled at the degenerate display put on by 3, 5 and 8 on New Years eve? We switched back and forth trying to find something half way decent. I won't even mention names and give these people recognition. Channel 8 had women parading around in lingerie. Channel 3 had some group singing Imagine what I call the communist manifesto song and I believe also they had hosting a drunken playboy model. Chanel 5 had a transvestite showing off. Then they had a woman singer and behind her a huge golden back drop with the UN symbol. If all that's not bad enough the huge ball on Times Square had on top of it TOSHIBA. It was more like the eve of destruction not new years.

I am currently reading a book called "Story of a Secret State" written in 1944. One way Hitler destabilized and brought down morale in Poland was through the promotion of pornography and other deviant behavior. The communist in America are having a field day, aren't they? Same tactics.

Happy New Year!
