Last Debate and various thoughts

Here’s my thoughts on the last debate.
I just watched it and oh my! The one that did the best was Carson, Cruz the Trifecta ineligible candidate did good and Trump was very animated and would be a force to reckon with if elected to be president. Can you imagine him confronting world leaders? Wow.

What I found sad was all the questions concerning what we would do in Iran, Iraq, Ukraine, on and on… Unless this debate was set for foreign policy I may understand, I did miss the intro. As I get older and dig in to what is wrong with America few answer the questions correctly. Trump was the closest when he continually slammed the Bush’s for 911 and the mess in Iraq. We need to secure our boarders and quit being policeman of the world. As Mark Levin would say “There I said it”! That’s where I am at. Sure there will always be countries that need our help but how many should we be involved with and to what extent? The candidates mentioned Ukraine well let’s move on from the debate and I will tell you what a Russian women told me. After listening to her maybe we should start minding our own business.

I met recently with a financial adviser from the Ukraine. She came here 10 years ago because of a marriage. When I asked her who has more freedom America or Russian without hesitating she quickly answered Russia. She came for a marriage and that freedom but since she arrived America’s freedom is waning and behind Russia’s. In her line of work being a financial adviser it is getting harder and harder to do it properly because of the burden of new rules and regulations. Most of what she said was a bit over my head but she told me soon in her line of work she won’t be able to charge fees and make a commission on a client and that’s just a start of things they can no longer do. I believe I heard this correctly.

She went on to say in Russia if you get stopped for a traffic violation you can pay the cop $5 or $10 and be on your way. Not here and traffic stops are way more frequent in America. House insurance and all insurance are not needed or they are provided in Russia. She says Russia is the most independent country with the most natural resources. She really likes Putin and feels Trump is the best choice for our president. She thinks Trump would work with Putin.

Now about this mess in Ukraine. Viktor Yanukovych, the leader of western Ukraine who is currently in exile in Russia, was ousted because the people wanted to join the EU but he did not want to. Yanukovych warned of the dangers of being part of the EU. The people didn’t listen but now they wish they would have heeded the warnings because Yanukovych was correct. As for the eastern part of Ukraine they want to join with Russia. The country is very divided. If this is all correct, which I have no doubt it, should the US get involved?

I never thought in my lifetime Russia would be looked at as more independent and having more freedom than the US. America has slipped that far.

Let’s jump back to the debate and what is currently happening in the presidential race. Republican candidates love to quote Reagan’s 11th commandment of thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican. Years previously I was in 100% agreement with that thinking. But then when elected Republicans started drifting to left I was on the attack and thought Reagan was completely wrong. But once more I changed my mind again and realized Reagan was correct. Allow me to explain.
I have come to recognize I am the true RINO and others who think constitutionally and conservatively are also. The Republican Party is just that a party. When I was attacking the Republican Party and their candidates I was in error. I was elected as a member of the Republican Central Committee with the purpose of furthering the cause of the Republican Party, got that? It was not to help elect Christian, Tea Party, Conservative, Constitutionalist candidates it was to promote the Republican Party at all costs. So Trump is goofy when stating about the establishment and not getting along with them, they are the Republican Party. If he can’t support the Republican Party and its candidates then he should as I said from the beginning run as an independent. Think about this.

Lastly we now have a legitimate businessman running for president in Donald Trump. The people have been clamoring for one since they let Ross Perot slip away. So the question is will the voters finally vote what they have been asking for or will they elect more of the same?

NH wrap up and things to think about

Well Friends,
My pick for New Hampshire worked out as I said it would with Kasich doing well and Trump winning. I told you years ago to keep an eye on Kasich. Can he keep up the momentum he gained in NH, maybe if Jeb’s thinking it’s my turn now to be president subsides. The rest of the gunning mudslingers besides Trump will be falling by the way side. I just don’t see it happening with any of them. Trump could be a runaway snowball that keeps growing with the rest left out in the cold.

What was the first thing I noticed in the candidate’s speeches after the results came in? How they presented themselves.

Hillary after her second place finish acted and sounded like she won by a big margin. The delusional SHrillary promised equal rights for everything and everybody who wasn’t wrapped in an American flag and had Christian beliefs. Besides that observation she was still in a rally mood thronged with supporters and her aging Slick and sad puppy Chelsea at her backside.

Rubio while giving his speech was standing on a platform plastered with Rubio posters not to be confused with polio as this man when he gets off his memorized words is a stiff.

Cruz the American/Canadian/Cuban the Trifecta Candidate had a gargantuan sign with the words TRUSTED.

Kasich had a standing ensemble of every hand he shook with an enormous sign that read Kasich for us.

And what did Trump have? Did you pick up on it? I will give you a couple of seconds to pick your brain. OK ready? A podium with a small Trump poster, a blue curtain as a backdrop with American and New Hampshire flags on poles and the Showman was flanked by his family, an army vet and a couple of other people. When I saw this I marveled and thought to myself he is already in presidential form. Who is coming up with this stuff for him or is this all his doing? I was impressed.

There really is nothing else to pick at so let’s move on.

Bernie Santa Sanders can promise everything and do it, I believe Bernie. His handouts would make this country sink faster than Greece in quicksand but he could amp up the Obama give away train.
Trump on the other hand could also do what he says. How hard is it to do the right thing? Follow the Constitution, stop illegals, fair trade instead of getting raked over by free trade, and make our military strong once again. If he has played both sides while being on the sidelines as a businessman maybe he knows how to get things done. Am I a blind Trump supporter? No I know and see his flaws but so far I am impressed with him.

Could it be Trump understands if this country goes belly up his money is gone, zilch-o. This has happened many times in the past where ultra-rich men lose everything including their lives. That’s what I ask people what is the difference between you and a millionaire or in this case a billionaire? If our dollar completely collapses you will have a thousand pieces of useless paper and the billionaire will have a billion useless pieces of paper. Maybe Trump really see’s the bigger picture and is sincere about restoring America, maybe he has had a change of heart and really is moving to the right.

The other thing I told you a month or so ago is to keep an eye open for a possible third bird to come flying in that both parties can support if Bernie Santa Sanders and the Showman keep winning. Is Bloomberg the man? Or will Biden or Kerry decide at the last minute, Hillary is done I can win this thing and join the fray?
Sununu and Gramm both said in different words they would find it hard to support Trump and he is not good for the Republican Party. My correction would read the Globalist Party. Who would save the GOP?

Media says first Jew won a major primary in NH. I don’t have the time to research this but what about Goldwater in 64? Maybe someone can fill this in for us I think the media is mistaken.

The reason I call Cruz the Trifecta Candidate because of him being born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father. I came across this link which if true gives even more meaning to the term the Trifecta Candidate. It talks about Ted Cruz’s wife Heidi
http://beforeitsnews.com/opinion-conservative/2015/04/is-ted-cruz-an-advocate-of-a-north-american-union-2991646.html

This is an excerpt
Heidi Cruz was a member of the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America which was launched in October 2004. The Task Force advocates a greater economic and social integration between Canada, Mexico, and the United States as a North American region.

Cruz the American/Canadian/Cuban with his wife being part of a task force to integrate Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Hmm! Could I be onto something?

Saturdays debate onto New Hampshire

Cruz'ers were you paying attention during Saturdays GOP debate? I did and what caught my attention immediately was Cruz explaining how CNN reported Carson dropped out. Well did you figure it out?

First let’s take a look at what I wrote prior to the Iowa debate on January 31st.

Suppose that the establishment fills the Iowa caucuses but tells their supporters to vote for Cruz over Bush or Kasich. Cruz pulls out a win. This could knock the steam out from Trump.

Could I have been sort of on the right track? I thought the establishment would vote for Cruz to diffuse Trump and eventually get their man nominated. But there was another way to get more votes for Cruz and that was to attack Carson.  If you think about it, almost the same voting block for Cruz is also aligned with Carson. Could the establishment have worked with the media to leak out bad intel so Cruz would defeat Trump? But another question comes to mind, why was it only Cruz’s campaign latched onto this Carson news? So did Cruz fabricate the Carson news or did the establishment? Either way something doesn’t smell right. I really applaud Trump for the gutsy closing statement by reminding us of Cruz stealing Iowa, which he did.

Apart from that what else were my thoughts? It was not Trumps best debate. I believe the establishment media figured out how to quiet Trump. Toss Trump softballs and little in the way to set him off which he always handles brilliantly. Some if this could be Donald’s fault for making a stand against the controversial Megyn Kelly. Maybe the network didn’t want a repeat of that or again did they take some of Trumps thunder away by playing nice to him?

Chris Christy did an excellent job and an even better job of quieting the anchor baby candidate Rubio. I liked that. It showed me a side of the NJ governor I haven’t seen before. Likewise I loved when Trump shoosh’d Bush. Trump definitely must have spoken the truth when he went after the crowd attending the debate who were all donors according to him. I loved it again.

What I really hated was let’s arm this country or that country or blow up North Korea. Blow up this blow up that - neocons at work. After the mess of invading Iraq and then Afghanistan I have reassessed my opinion on military involvement. And it just doesn’t line up with most of the candidates. That’s the difference with the Dems and Repubs. The Dems want us to lower our standard to get in line with the rest of the world. The Repubs want to blow everyone up and make us one world. Is there really a difference? Only in the manner of how we get to a world government that both parties are marching us towards and quickly.

That’s another area I felt Trump scored points when he explained he would get on China and let them handle North Korea. The rest tried to paint Trump as extreme but after that answer ask yourself who should have their hand on the button? But it wasn’t all diplomacy with Trump. I applauded when he said he would use water boarding and worse to get information out of terrorists. Trump gets it. And did you notice how many times the other candidates gave props to Trump or agreed with him?

So my opinion hasn’t really changed much. When Jeb spoke, because I taped the debate, I fast forwarded it every time he spoke, I can’t get behind another Bush in the White House. The Cuban and the American/Canadian/Cuban candidates no opinion as they are not qualified. Kasich made strides in getting more support and then there is the quiet one, Ben Carson. He makes a ton of sense but not forceful enough to be noticed. But if Trump is nominated Carson would be one terrific choice for VP. They definitely could complement each other.

The pick for New Hampshire… I still see Kasich doing well with Trump winning.
