Friends,
I so much share Terry's pain not only for the financial upheaval and uncertainty in my life but also because Terry is a special friend of mine and I feel deeply for him.
Terry is gifted on so many fronts that I won't even begin to list all that he has done or accomplished. A man with his intelligence should not be in the position he is in. And I know there are MANY of us who feel the same way about our predicament.
As much as I look to Terry from time to time for advice I need to make one correction in his statement below.
He reiterates over and over vote the incumbents out.
I disagree with that statement. There are a few races I know of that the incumbents are not the problem. The problem is the Socialist/Democratic agenda. A return to true Conservative principles is the answer. Why don't people see this?
The Socialist/Democratic agenda has undermined or morals, job base, freedom, interfered with our religion, it has ruined the America we use to know.
How people allow George Soros to fund the legalization of marijuana with a million dollar donation is a travesty. One of the most used tools before any country falls or is taken over by a dictator is liberal drug policies. Drugs dope the youth and masses into puppet slaves that will follow anything as long as they get their fix.
The manipulation of house values just to raise property tax. The class warfare to raise minimum wage to over 7 dollars has hurt small businesses and caused layoffs. The global trade deals which almost all can be traced back to the Clinton Administration. The take over of our houses such as what Euclid, Ohio is doing. I could go on and on. What do all those things have in common? Not one of those listed have the backing of the true Conservative/Tea Party movement. They are all part of the Socialist/Democratic agenda to bring America to her knees to be ruled by a global body.
VOTE OUT or DO NOT VOTE for anyone with a D by their name or any Rhino Republican. If there is no choice other than those two, leave it blank.
Carey Masci
May God Help US.

If you are Fed-Up and Devastated by the same old/same old, vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. Send the message.
If you are Fed-Up and Devastated by empty BS promises that disappear or some how come back and bite WE THE PEOPLE in the ass, vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. Send the message.
If you are Fed-Up and Devastated by our jobs and tax dollars going overseas or to illegals here who have NOTHING invested in what we have today, vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. Send the message.
If you are Fed-Up and Devastated AND have the slightest inkling as to how we are ALL going to get taxed totally out of our comfort zone starting 01JAN11, vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. Send the message.
(If you have little or NO idea what I am talking about above, referring to the new 2011 tax laws, get off YOUR Soap Box, put down the remote, get out of Face Book, climb up out of the Recliner, FIND OUT BEFORE YOU VOTE, THEN vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. Send the message.)
I live in Michigan all my life where the unemployment rate is at an all time Historical HIGH, even over the devastating numbers after the 30’s market crash AND even over those following WWII, when the War Production Employees hit the bricks.
My home is now worth only 78% what it was back in 2005. I bought it in 1987 for $94K. Appraised for my refi’ in ’05 at $204K. After 5 kids weddings, Home Improvements, and one or two nibbles at the American Dream, I now owe 17K over what it is (appraised) worth = $160K !
Remember, I am using the word “WORTH” ! The last home sale here, in JUL, 2010, 4 blocks away, about 98% identical home to ours, Sq Footage, Lot Size, Bells & Whistles, Upgrades, Overall Condition (only actual difference is my bricks are the White/Gray Italian VS their std Brown Rustic tone), wanted $140K - went for $115K after being on the market for 26 MONTHS……. I counted last night on a cruise looking at just a 5 block radius of my house, and there are 21 homes for sale.
We tried one of Obama’s FHA Real Estate/Mortgage Adjustments = DENIED, then the NEW Totally FHA sponsored/backed Refi’ = also DENIED.
GET THIS, without putting it IN WRITING of course. “YOU’RE TOO OLD ! ”
ITS ALL BULL SHIT!
THEN 08SEP10, (along with 40+ other Detroit Metro employees) notified ALL our jobs have been moved to Florida . BUT thank GOD (remember HIM) its still in the states, ay? I am Unemployed as of 08NOV10.
With the above Real Estate Facts staring us in the face, I could NOT afford to MOVE/RELOCATE to South Florida .
My wife of 41 years is semi handicapped. We have 5 kids and 12 Grandkids.
Cost of living within 25 miles of that Florida work location is 8% to 12% higher than here.
Home owners insurance is almost DOUBLE what it is here. THAT doesn’t include the Florida State Mandated Flood Insurance rider either.
Auto Insurance is almost DOUBLE what it is here for the same car in South Florida .
The ONLY upside is GAS there is 4¢ to 6¢ cheaper (IF you drive around and HUNT it down) than up here.
Oh I forgot to mention NO-ONE would be receiving any Cost Of Living RAISE (or ANY pay increase) when relocating.
Yet they keep saying the turn around HAS BEGUN….. WHERE?
So much for MY personal problems. We’re not alone though.
SO vote EVERY Incumbent OUT. PICK AND CHOOSE. Send the message.
Business AS USUAL is OVER.
WE are the NEW Special Interest Group.
WE The People: who live and work, have lived and have worked, (legally) HERE.
PLEASE?

Euclid grows the government again
Euclid is at it again. I am not opposed to recycling or going green but someone needs to tell the mayor that government is not suppose to create jobs, the private sector is and that's where real growth and tax revenue comes from.
Now is NOT the time to add government workers. As the city of Euclid's government grows so will the tax they impose on the residents because there is no guarantee this plan will work. This move is another shot across the bow for anyone thinking of opening a business or buying a house. For the rest of us of us who have already in Euclid, we are stuck.

Euclid aims to go green with recycling program
By Max Reinhart News-Herald.com
The city of Euclid took a step toward becoming more environmentally friendly and, officials believe, more cost-effective, at Monday evening's city council meeting.
Council voted 5-3 in favor of starting a curbside recycling program as soon as equipment, supplies and personnel are available. I believe this was tried already in Euclid. I know in Wickliffe they did and as in most cities it failed.
"I think it's the proper thing to do. I think it's a service that our residents want (Did they ask everyone?)," Euclid Mayor Bill Cervenik said.
With the approval of curbside recycling, the city now waits to see whether a recycling consortium of nine or 10 nearby cities will come to fruition. regionalism - socialism
If it does, Cervenik said the city has the possibility (possibility not for certain, in the end the residents will pay) of generating revenue, depending on how much trash the city recycles.
If the consortium doesn't take shape, Cervenik said the worst the city could do is break even with the agreement it has with the city of Cleveland.
"The consortium would make it even better," Cervenik said. "But I firmly believe that even (without it), the recycling will be a break-even or a slightly profitable endeavor."
The new program also means the creation of new jobs for the city. The city, not the private sector. And who will pay for the new workers?.
By approving the measure, council will allow Cervenik to create and staff three full-time positions to collect residents' recyclables. Someone tell the Mayor government should not create jobs, if it does, its called Socialism.
Councilwoman Mary Jo Minarik was one of the dissenting votes. Minarik said council needed to hear more details about the possible consortium and new city jobs before voting on it.
"I think the discussion tonight has shown that there are a lot of gray areas out there," Minarik said.
Council members David Gilliham and Daryl Langman also voted against the implementing the program.
Councilwoman Madeline Scarniench voted for the program and said she's talked about the idea with numerous residents — all of whom have been in favor.
"Right now I think we need to give our residents something that's really good, and I think this is one of those things," Scarniench said. Really good! Why not rescind the street light - trash fee's, add more police, lower the taxes and get out of people's homes, now that is really good!
Following the approval of the recycling plan, council approved a purchase to help put the plan into action.
Cervenik's request to purchase a recycling truck for about $92,000 was approved by a 5-3 vote. Money used to start the recycling program came primarily from a state grant with additional money coming from the city's cash reserve to pay the salaries of the new positions. Instead of buying more equipment and adding MORE city workers and charging the residents for trash and street lights why not save the money and rescind those fee's? This is a key phrase here: Money used to start the recycling program... And then what happens after that, answer raise taxes to pay for it. We have been down this road before. Besides, IF I am correct, cash reserves are for existing programs and emergencies.
Cervenik said he was pleased that the program could be funded without any general fund money being spent.
"It requires us not to use general fund money and take it away from safety forces, EMS, recreation and other things like that," he said.
The recycling program is expected to begin as soon as the new positions are staffed and recycling bags and informational literature can be circulated to the public.
From my archives Feb. 2010:
Chuck Galletti, who was sitting in for Triv (Triv Show WTAM), made this statement to Mayor Cervenek. - What people are against is once a fee or tax is put in place its never removed. The Mayor responded That's not necessarily true, they can always be reduced.
Excuse me, reduced is not the same as being removed.

Seven Candidates - Tom Ganley
Friends,
I hear a lot of complaints about our leaders and elected officials. And I keep telling people NOT all are thieving liars. You need to attend the different functions, you need to meet the candidates face to face to find out. Here are a few that I endorse.
It was hard to narrow it down of whom to endorse as I have met many fine qualified people. So this is my short list of seven candidates that I believe are honest, have integrity, still believe in America and that can make a difference. Most of these candidates have never held office before. I call this the year of the businessman/non-politician.
5. Tom Ganley candidate U.S. Rep. Ohio 13Th Congressional District
This is kind of a unusual endorsement as I am including a short clip. What I want you to do is please look at the clip, look at the photos and then go out and support Ganley any way you can.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVHgBy7IuzA
Again... PLEASE look at the clip so you understand what is going on. This is one race that you can make a definite stand against Obama and his socialist policies. Tom Ganley is also a businessman/non politician like so many others this year.
For years Wickliffe had a Dodge dealership dating back to the early 70's, maybe earlier. First it was Glavic Dodge then Ganley. Ganley Dodge also had a Saturn dealership. After the Government take over of Chrysler the Ganley lot is now empty on the Dodge side. Saturn is gone also and what remains is Ganley's import and a used car lot. But across the street is a Ford dealership who didn't take the bailout and is doing just fine.
The word is out that the Dems are following Republican candidates, filming them, trying anything to trip them up. I know this is going on. A Lake County candidates campaign manager contacted me and said please don't forward my email because of the tactics from the left side. All this manager asked me was if I could go out and place yard signs. That's it! This is out of hand.
A few days ago the newspaper reported Tom Ganley was being sued for sexual harassment or worse. Red flags went up all over the place. I heard Tom Ganley speak at the Lake GOP Convention in 2009. He told the story of how organized crime was trying to extort money from him. He had to have police protection live with him. But Tom stood up to it and justice was served. And that is what I feel is going on again. This woman accusing Ganley said it happened last year but why now a month before the election is this coming to light? I can't say for 100% positive as I wasn't there but something just doesn't seem right. Its very hard to believe Tom would do something like this.
The attack ads against Tom Ganley also keep on coming. Numerous sources state the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is spending more money in Ohio than in any other state and more money in Sutton's district (Tom Ganley's oponent) than in any other district. At least if the ads were constructive but they're nothing but trash talk. Tom Ganley is mostly self funding his campaign.
If you really want to send an anti-big government/Obama message - help get Tom Ganley elected.

carey's news briefs
Hey Gang,
Browns tailgaters are quite upset. Cleveland's Muni Parking Lot where they party before home games is opening three hours later, instead of 4 a.m. it's now 7 a.m. I agree with the upset tailgaters that the lot should open at 4. You really do need a full 8 hours of drinking beforehand if you are going to sit through a Browns game.
For those who follow the Browns and football......
Derick Anderson: 2 and 1 - Cleveland Browns: 0 and 3. I told you to keep an eye on Anderson, he may not be a Peyton Manning but he's not as bad as the Browns made him look.
Did anyone notice? The week the report came out that said the recession was over was the same week all the Cleveland politicians were arrested.
You would think though that Cleveland's crooked politicians would of done at least some good for the city before being sent away. Like bribing the officials so either the Browns or Indians could win a game.
Cleveland's population will take another hit downward. With everyone being arrested not many will be left in the city.
Christmas is coming earlier and earlier. My friend Ruth told me in Manila they have Christmas trees up already and I just received my first Christmas card. We may have to rewrite that song the 12 days of Christmas and call it the 12 months of Christmas.
The Nike office in NY city had to be shut cause of bed bugs. I thought of the perfect ad to capitalize on this. A man is sleeping, jumps up out of bed because of bed bugs. He lands perfectly into a pair of Nike shoes and runs out of the house.
The slogan: When ya got the itch to run - Nike shoes.

Seven Candidates - Young and Murphy
I hear a lot of complaints about our leaders and elected officials. And I keep telling people NOT all are thieving liars. You need to attend the different functions, you need to meet the candidates face to face to find out. Here are a few that I endorse.
It was hard to narrow it down of whom to endorse as I have met many fine qualified people. So this is my short list of seven candidates that I believe are honest, have integrity, still believe in America and that can make a difference. Most of these candidates have never held office before. I call this the year of the businessman/non-politician.
3. Ron Young candidate State Rep. Eastern Lake County.
There are as many reasons to vote for Ron Young as there are reasons not to vote for his opponent, current State Rep Mark Schneider. Plain and simple Mark Schneider is a Cuyahoga plant! How he ever was elected is beyond me. Prior to moving into Lake County and running for office he never even registered to vote. Plus there are rumblings going on that he may be implicated with the mess going on in Cuyahoga. We don't need this here in Lake.
About Ron Young.
Even though Ron held a seat as state rep he is a small business owner and has created jobs.
The Dems have tried to dishonestly paint Ron Young as a big government candidate. What a joke.
Ron Young was instrumental in getting me involved with local issues and politics. He held a rally back in about 2000 on the Painesville Court House steps protesting the proposal to charge a parking fee (admittance) to all Ohio parks. It is because of Ron Young and Senator Grendell we enjoy our parks here in Ohio freely.
Ron Young is very strong on property rights. He passed the“Young Amendment”, which was the largest permanent income tax reduction in Ohio history. And passed legislation that lowered the inheritance tax.
Ron Young previously was state representative of Eastern Lake County but was term limited out. We need to return Ron Young, especially now with so many of our freedoms being infringed upon.
http://ronyoungforohio.com/
4. Bob Murphy candidate Lake County Commissioner
Bob Murphy is part of the trend of candidates that are business owners and not career politicians. Bob has run a local business for 45 years. He has invested in his community.
Bob Murphy is running against current County Commissioner Dan Troy who has ties with Dimora and Russo. Enough said on that.
There are other differences Bob Murphy has with the long time incumbent Dan Troy.
Listing just three....
Bob is incensed over the million dollar dog motel (Lake County Dog Shelter) as he likes to call it. Bob Murphy is adamantly against regionalism, a socialist like plan for spreading the wealth and strongly against the Mexican Matricula. In simple terms the matricula is an ID card for illegals - how absurd!
Its important Bob Murphy gets elected as its a big step in making sure Cuyahoga County thinking stays out and Lake County remains Lake County.

People tell me all the time but what can I do?
Simple - Get Involved! With modern technology such as cell phones and the Internet its very easy to do so. Contact these candidates and ask for voter lists and make calls on their behalf, blast out emails in their support, post this message and others on different forums and blogs and donate.
But the easiest thing you can do is simply tell a friend, vote for.....
Even if you live in another state help us here in NE Ohio, we need it!
We are at a serious crossroad my friends! Remember what Euclid did to me?
Carey Masci
As John Kasich candidate for Ohio governor said at the Lake County Republican Convention in August 2009.
"You have one more chance to get this right and that's it!"
Get involved friends, please get involved before it's really to late!
